You helped Hermes heal and this is the impact of your compassion. 🐾
Meet Hermes, a lovable 1-year-old rescue Dalmatian who’s been through more than most dogs his age. What started as a foster journey quickly turned into forever his dad learned Hermes had been neglected, and couldn’t leave him behind.
But shortly after adoption, Hermes became seriously ill. He was rushed to the ER and underwent emergency surgery to remove a rock from his stomach.
Just as he recovered, another issue surfaced: Hermes was diagnosed with entropion, a painful condition where his eyelids rolled inward, scratching his eyes and putting his vision at risk.
The surgery he needed was urgent but out of reach financially. That’s when his dad turned to Sage Compassion for Animals, and thanks to your donations, we awarded a veterinary care grant that made his surgery possible.
With the help of the skilled team at , Hermes got the care he needed. Today, he’s home, pain-free, and back to being his sweet, playful self.
His dad shared:
