Let's talk about Feline Oral Resorptive Lesions 🙄

This condition that effects roughly 60% of cats occurs when the tooth enamel erodes and eventually becomes irreparably destroyed. While it is true that we don't know exactly what causes it, we do know that it's painful due to gingivitis and open nerve cavities. 🦷

The only way to treat is to perform extraction or amputation of the exposed crown.
We can diagnose this condition on physical exam or dental radiographs. 😽
