Happy National Veterinary Technician Week! 🩺💙
Behind every patient, every procedure, every recovery, and every difficult goodbye, there’s a veterinary technician giving a piece of themselves to the animals in their care.
They’re the ones monitoring anesthesia, placing catheters, running diagnostics, administering treatments, comforting frightened patients, and advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves.
They’re also the ones sitting on the floor with nervous dogs, earning the trust of scared cats, celebrating the smallest victories, and holding patients close when it’s time to say goodbye.
But veterinary medicine isn’t always easy.
There are long days, missed lunches, emotional exhaustion, difficult cases, and moments that follow them home long after their shifts have ended. There are victories they’ll never forget and losses they’ll carry forever.
And still, they show up.
Because behind every set of scrubs is someone who chose a career built on compassion, dedication, resilience, and an unwavering love for animals.
This week, we celebrate the veterinary technicians who give their knowledge, their patience, their hearts, and sometimes even their tears to a profession that asks so much of them.
To our incredible veterinary technicians: You are seen. You are valued. And the work you do matters more than you know.
Thank you for the countless ways you care for your patients, support your teammates, and make a difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them.
