www.straycatblues.org Mission Statement: Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens located primarily in Montgomery and Bucks and other suburban Philadelphia counties, and find them safe and appropriate homes. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for ab

andoned cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays. Stray Cat Blues actively works to recruit permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. All the animals are screened for feline leukemia, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Healthy, adoptable cats are then housed through our network of foster homes. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our 4 different adoption cage locations to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for the organization. In addition to placement of sociable cats and kittens, a major focus of Stray Cat Blues is to place feral and unsociable cats in qualified barn homes. Like our house cats, our barn cats are delivered to their new homes by a Stray Cat Blues volunteer. We provide our barn cats with a cozy "cat condominium" to live in for the first few weeks of life in their new location. The crate allows the cats to acclimate to their new home without the danger of having them run away in search of their old stomping grounds. We are willing to go to great lengths for our cats - quite literally! We will gladly travel to approved barn homes within an approximate 100 mile radius of the Lansdale and Montgomeryville area to deliver our helpful mousers. Most of our cats are strays and their offspring that are rescued from area locations. Many of these strays are more than willing to be helped by our volunteers. But for those animals that are more wary of humans, especially the feral cats, we utilize humane traps. Many of our kittens are born to mother cats that we have rescued. Email: [email protected]

Meet Trixie 🖤🐼

With her cutest little black nose and sweet, curious personality, Trixie is impossible not to love. This young girl came to us from a farm when her owner could no longer care for her—and she’s ready for her happily-ever-after.

Trixie loves attention and pets, enjoys exploring her surroundings, and when she’s all tuckered out, she’ll happily hop into your lap for a cozy nap. She’s looking for a forever family who will shower her with love, treats, and the comfort of knowing she’ll always be warm, safe, and protected.

She is spayed, dewormed, negative for FIV/FELV, and up to date on her shots.

Confident and inquisitive, Trixie would do best as the only cat in the home. Her days of climbing trees and rooftops are behind her—she’s perfectly content being an indoor girl who never has to wonder where her next meal is coming from.

Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen are about six months old (estimated DOB: 5/19/25) and are being fostered near PetSmart Collegeville. These two best buds have been inseparable since day one, growing up together in an autobody shop where they learned that life is best with adventure, playtime, and plenty of snuggles.

Tow Mater is the goofy charmer — full of personality, always the first to pounce on a toy, greet you for attention, and curl up beside you when it’s time to relax. He’s sweet, silly, and has a heart as big as his smile.

Lightning McQueen is sleek, playful, and curious, with a gentle, affectionate side that truly shines when the zoomies are over. He loves sleeping with his humans, especially when he can snuggle in close and purr himself to sleep.

Their bond is deep and unbreakable — they rely on each other for comfort, confidence, and constant fun, and must be adopted together.

Meet Sunny ☀️ — a resilient 6-year-old boy ready for his second chance at forever.

Sunny once had a home and a family, but through no fault of his own, he was surrendered to the SPCA when his family moved. Shelter life was tough on him, and all the sudden changes were a lot to process. Thanks to a kind SCB foster, Sunny got a much-needed break — and with time, patience, and some cool adult cat buddies to show him the ropes, he’s truly blossomed.

Now Sunny is thriving. He’s chatty, greets his foster mom at the door, loves his toys, and soaks up pets. He has a lot to say and has quickly become a favorite in the foster room. 🧡

Meet Jack & Audrey — the ultimate bonded pair! 🐾💖

Jack (est. DOB 5/20/24) and Audrey (est. DOB 5/20/25) are being fostered near PetSmart Collegeville, and their story starts in an unexpected place—a cat colony—where these two formed an unbreakable bond.

Jack is a handsome, outgoing goofball with joyful energy and a huge heart. He loves people, follows his humans everywhere, and wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. Toys, exploring, and especially enthusiastic full-body pets are his jam—he’ll lean right in for more!

Audrey is a sweet, 6-month-old kitten who has truly blossomed in foster care. Affectionate and gently playful, she loves to ask for pets and soak up attention once she feels comfortable. When she’s not playing, you’ll find her happily bird-watching from the window, completely mesmerized.

Meet Fergie 💕

This gorgeous 2-year-old mama came into foster care with her two kittens after keeping them safe through brutal cold temperatures until rescue. Fergie is shy at first, but she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Once she warms up, she’s incredibly sweet—offering slow blinks and big stretches to show she’s feeling safe and comfortable.

Meet Yam & Maple, an adorable tabby sibling duo born in August 2025 and currently being fostered in Warminster 💛

Yam is a total sweetheart—so sweet his foster mom says he’s candied. Outgoing and affectionate, he happily crawls into laps for cuddles and charms everyone with his expressive little tail (the tip was amputated, but you’d never know by the way he communicates!). Like any kitten, he loves to play, explore, and especially wrestle with his sister.

Maple is a gentle, playful girl who is learning to trust and blossom. She seeks out pets and affection and has the cutest quirk: if there’s no soft blanket nearby, she’ll suck on fabric—or even your skin—for comfort. She can be a bit skittish and may occasionally nibble, so a calmer home with older or no kids would be best for her.

These two are closely bonded and love playing together, so they’d do best adopted together (or into a home with another young, energetic cat). Ready to give this sweet pair a loving home—maybe even in time for the holidays?

Meet Twinkle ✨

Twinkle is a lovely 12-year-old gray lady with the cutest white-tipped toes you’ve ever seen. Her life took a tough turn when her family moved away and left her behind, but despite it all, she has remained incredibly sweet and full of love.

This gentle girl is a world-class snuggler who would be happiest in a quiet home where she can curl up beside you and enjoy a peaceful, cozy life. Twinkle isn’t a fan of other cats — at her age, she knows what she likes, and what she likes is *you*, a soft blanket, and plenty of cuddles.

Don’t let her age fool you, though! Twinkle still lights up for a good catnip toy and will never say no to a treat or two. She truly deserves a safe, loving home where she can spend her golden years being cherished.
