Class registration for the upcoming April/May 2025 class session will open on Sunday April 6th @ 8pm for returning students and for all level 1 classes. Registration will open to the general public on Monday April 7th @ 8p. We have made the unfortunate decision to cancel this evening's classes with Stacey and Maureen. Although the roads seem clear, we are concerned for the safety of our students and instructors to drive home after the roads freeze.
Make up will be February 24th.

Due to the forecasted weather coming into the area this morning, we have made the decision to cancel all of Dan’s Daytime Classes (10a, 11:30a, 2:15p) and his private lessons. Classes will be made up on 2/24/2025.

A decision on Maureen’s and Stacey’s evening classes will be made before 3p.

Good Afternoon!

Now that Dan and I have wrapped our heads around what an amazing community of dog lovers we are a part of, we thought we would put together some GLOWS from our Saturday trial!
• The small group who helped us work off our turkey and came to help set up on Friday were so fantastic! We could not have done this without you!
• Our amazing judge, Mary Ellen Barry, created such fair, but challenging courses and nested amazingly well. She kept us moving at record speed!!!
• We had so many people bring food that NOBODY could complain they were going hungry.
• Our raffle basket was won by Whitney Heiken!!!
• We raised $500 for Canine Epilepsy! This means so much to us!
• Many of you participated in the rock hunt and our Alice Reichert found an amazing 4 rocks!!!!!
• The workers filled every spot so that our judge didn't get too tired throughout the day!
• We finally were able to say we have a UKI approved tire!!!
• Breakdown and clean up was super fast!
• The same group of people who always lend a hand stayed after on Saturday night to clean up!
• Jo Gryniewicz from www.wildscapesandwhiskers.com took over 4K PICTURES! They will be up on her website for purchase shortly!
This is our FAVORITE trial of the year because of the camaraderie and sense of community it brings to us and everyone who attends! Thank you for all you do for agility but mostly for our dogs, the ones who brought us all together! Thank you for joining us!

Did you hear? There's no need to pack your lunch or to hit Wawa on your way to our trial on Saturday. We are having a potluck lunch, compliments of your fellow exhibitors!!! We're also having a basket raffle along with our "Steel's Lessons" rock hunt, All donations and proceeds will benefit Canine Epilepsy Research.

I have some classes starting this week that still have a few openings.

Agility Beginner 3 – Wednesday @ 1P
Agility Beginner 3 is our third level of agility class, perfect for dogs who have been working on equipment in Beginner 2 but aren't yet able to tackle full height obstacles. Handlers will be introduced to Elements of Handling, so they can continue to help their dogs progress in the sport.

Agility Bridging the Gap – Wednesday @ 2p
In this class, the instructor will have a sequence setup, but you can work on a particular skill or obstacle that seems to be giving you problems. We strive to create an environment that encourages you to explore and build confidence in both you and your pup.

Agility Beginner 3 – Thursday @ 5p
Agility Beginner 3 is our third level of agility class, perfect for dogs who have been working on equipment in Beginner 2 but aren't yet able to tackle full height obstacles. Handlers will be introduced to Elements of Handling, so they can continue to help their dogs progress in the sport.

Agility Weaves – Thursday @ 6:30p
Our Weaves class will help you take your dog's weave performance to the next level. Your instructor will help to build distance, speed and confidence in weaving with methods tailored to your needs. This class is open to all levels and focuses on learning and reinforcing the weave pole technique (2 x 2 or channels). If you are just starting to train this obstacle, your instructor can do that also! Join us and see the amazing progress your pup can make!

Agility Novice Handling – Thursday @ 8p
Our experienced instructor will work with you and your dog to help perfect the handling techniques seen in Novice/Beginner level agility courses. This course focuses mostly on basic jumps and tunnels but may have an occasional contact, allowing you and your pup to get comfortable with agility handling fundamentals before progressing to more advanced levels. No weaves are used.
