Dear Valued Clients,

We wanted to let you know about a small upcoming change to TWO medications we keep in stock at our hospital.

To help keep medication costs lower for both our clinic and our clients, we will be switching to the generic versions of Rimadyl (carprofen) and Cerenia (maropitant) for our in-house inventory. The generic tablets may look different in color, shape, or markings than the name-brand medications you have received previously, but they contain the same active medication.

If you prefer to continue using the name-brand Rimadyl or Cerenia, those products will still be available to order through our online pharmacy!

We appreciate your understanding as we look for ways to provide your pets with the medications they need while helping keep costs as affordable as possible. As always, please contact us if you have any questions about your pet’s medication.

Dr. Angie and Dr. Nate Truitt took a trip to the WVC Nashville Conference for Veterinary Professionals this week to spend time learning about the latest advancements in Veterinary Medicine!

A few topics Dr. Nate has been attending lectures for are Dentistry, GI Health, Cardiology, Anesthesia & Surgery, and Dermatology.

Dr. Angie is attending lectures in Asthma, Dermatology, Cardiology, Euthanasia and Palliative Care, Avian Medicine, Small Ruminant Emergencies, as well as Guinea Pigs and Rabbit Wellness.

Continuing education is a vital part of providing the best possible care for our patients and they are excited to bring new knowledge and ideas back to our practice!
