Pooches and Pints:
A great brewery dog is calm, quiet, on leash, people/dog/noise tolerant, and out of the way. This class here to practice neutrality in a chaotic environment even while the handler is not 100% focused on the dog. This is a 4 week class that meets at a different dog friendly brewery or winery each week. Handlers will learn how to maneuver through crowds while carrying a beverage of their choice and have a calm and focused dog while spending a night out. Dog/Handler teams will also participate in obedience games and learn tricks. Teams will have the opportunity to be evaluated for Brewery Dog titles on the last week of class for a small fee. Because we are going into public, dogs must be evaluated for class if we have not previously met them. Class minimum 2 and maximum 4 dogs. Taught by Jenny. Any food or drink purchase is responsibility of the participant. Locations include Von C, Bald Birds and Twelve 78 Breweries and Evansburg Winery.

Pooches & Paddleboards Workshop:
Introducing your dog to kayaking/paddleboarding can be a rewarding experience for both of you, strengthening your bond and providing a new adventure! We will start with introductions to the vessels on land and then aim to get our feet wet in a shallow portion of the Schuylkill River. We will be taking things slow and will stay close to the boat ramp, no long voyages this time around. Plan to get wet and dress accordingly. Participation is at your own risk. Bring plenty of treats, leash and harness, towels, a bowl and fresh water for your dog. Two kayaks, a paddleboard and two human life vests will be available for use. If you have life vests for you or your dog, bring them. You are also welcome to bring your own paddleboard or kayak. There is a portapotty available for use. Maximum 6 dogs.

Parkour for the Pups!
Dog Parkour is similar to the human version where the participants leap and climb over and around everyday objects but without the extreme and dangerous stunts. Dogs and handlers will be taught to complete tricks, behaviors and commands around obstacles that include balancing, jumping and crawling. Parkour, sometimes called Urban Agility, is a fun way to add excitement to every day walks, enrich your dog’s experiences and refine their attention and focus while building your bond with your dog. Class limited to 6 dogs and classes will be held at various local locations, such as parks, in Collegeville, Phoenixville and Lansdale. Participants will be notified of location ahead of time. Taught by Jenny.

Socialization Skills Class:

Are you unsure of how to introduce your dog to people and other dogs? Are they too shy, show a little reactiveness or over the top with excitement? This class helps teach you and your dog to become more comfortable with these meet and greets. You will learn about canine and human body language, how to use it to your advantage, how to set up the situation for success and calming techniques to use with your dog.

Many exercises need two handlers, so having at least two people per family attend is required. Class is at a metered pace so we can build a better foundation for greetings. Class is open to dogs 6 months and older and limited to 4 dogs. Taught by Debbie and held at Royersford Baptist Church.

Price: $130 for 4 weeks
Day: Wednesday
Time: 6:30 - 7:30 pm
