ReDux Equine Rescue was thrilled to welcome Clarke County High School Honor Society members to the farm this morning. They spent hours clearing brush from the fence lines, removing rocks from the pastures and filling holes that could damage horse (and people) legs.
We even found a beautiful Robin nest while we worked!

At 24 years old, she has moved past the zoomies of youth and settled into a life of grace, kindness, and steady friendship.

Montana came to us with a very important job: raising her baby, Georgia. She was a phenomenal mother, and now that Georgia gone off for training, it is finally Montana’s turn to be the center of someone's world.

Because she is so adaptable and easygoing, Montana would make an outstanding companion horse for another equine in need of a buddy. She isn't a "bossy" mare; she prefers to keep the peace and enjoy the sunshine.

Montana is the first one at the gate to greet you, especially if she suspects there might be a carrot or an apple involved! She is easy to handle, stands patiently for the farrier, and loves a good grooming session.

After years of taking care of others, Montana is ready for a "special person" of her very own—someone to offer her a soft landing, a few extra scratches behind the ears, and the retirement she truly deserves.
