We strive to produce top-notch ranch horses that are versatile and well-minded with both foundation and color. In addition to our ranch horses, we also offer colt-starting, tune-ups, and problem-solving for the public. We tailor our training program to meet the individual needs of the horse. I just wanted to take a moment to fill yall in on something new that's been going on around here lately. This breeding season looked a little different..but in an exciting new way!

We have a large amount of mares that are consistently being checked throughout the year for impending ovulation and pregnancy. It's been a goal of ours to eventually be able to do some of this on our own, not only because it's an interest of ours but it's also more cost effective in the long run when we are able to do the small stuff ourselves.

I've spent hours upon hours researching and studying (hello brain cells that have been asleep since college) Springtime rolled around and we were able to purchase our very first ultrasound machine. To say it's been a learning curve would be an understatement. I'm so thankful for our friend, Dr. Samantha Canup, for taking extra time during exams this year to help me get a better understanding of it all. I am definitely figuring out that it truly takes time to learn -- I'm also hopeful that I'll be able to attend an equine reproductive class out in Texas at some point too.

Anyways, I just wanted to share that with yall as it's not only a cool step for our operation, but it's something I've thoroughly enjoyed.

SOLD Leo Rip Script, "Ghost" -- Home raised 3yo bay roan AQHA gelding. 15hh and growing. He's been ranched on, sorted cows, tagged bunch of calves, ropes the sled good...and pushed stock out of the arena at his first rodeo this past weekend. He's a big mover, works really well off leg pressure and has a light handle. Has been lightly started on the head side. PPE welcome at buyer's expense. Located in Colbert, GA 30628.

Getting a head count on all the horses is always one of my biggest concerns after a storm. We've had upsetting losses in the past when it comes to lightning, so we can't be too upset about a little bit of clean up if everyone is accounted for and safe because that's what matters most. We've spent most of the day cutting fallen trees, repairing fences and topping off water troughs from the water tank..still no power. But everyone is good out this way...just some tired, dirty, stinky boys 💙

We don't often offer something that's not one that we've raised, but this guy was a cool case that we just couldn't turn down.

EX RODEO BUCKING HORSE turned FLAG HORSE now available!! This 15.2hh 10 y/o grullo draft cross gelding didn't want to buck, so we put a ranch saddle on him and put him to work. At rodeos, he's carried the flag and pushed stock out of the arena. He's also been used to move cattle and tag calves. Steady on trails and gets along with other horses. He really is nice to be around, a super quiet old soul kind of guy.

Quirks: he can be a little off on his front left sometimes (mostly noticed when he's stalled), does not like being sprayed with water, doesn't like feet being handled, and didn't love roping big bulls. We haven't spent time to fix those issues, but he has a willing mind to learn. He's broke and a pleasure to be around, but his price reflects his quirks. He's more woah than go, but will get into a lope when asked. Step on him cold with time off and he's the same horse. Catches easy, loads good, stands to mount, crosses creeks and logs.
