“ Awoo, Awhoo, Awoooo!” – Esco saying hello. 👋🐶

You may hear Esco before you see him, he just wants to make is dashing presence known! This fluffy fella is 4-years-old and weighs in 48 pounds of fun and personality. Esco is your classic Husky: energetic, goofy, and very chatty. If you love a dog who has opinions and isn’t afraid to share them, Esco is your guy.

On walks, Esco does great and would happily help you crush those 10,000-steps-a-day New Year’s resolutions! Once he’s comfortable, his playful side comes out. Although he’s on the energetic side, Esco is a huge couch cuddle bug or lap lover when it’s time to relax. He has done well with kids and other dogs but kitty friends are a little too exciting for him.

💔 Bebe and Cinder are two young dogs who have already endured more pain than any animal should — and now they need your help to heal!

Bebe, a sweet 2-year-old American Pitbull mix, came to us after being abandoned and tied to a fence. Shortly after arriving, our medical team noticed she was limping and in pain. After seeing a specialist, it was confirmed that Bebe needs TPLO surgery to repair a torn ligament in her left knee. Without it, she’ll continue living with chronic pain and limited mobility.

Cinder, a 1-year-old Cane Corso mix, was rescued by our Humane Investigation team after being found tethered outside in freezing weather with no food, water, or shelter. He was thin, dirty, and struggling to walk. X-rays confirmed that Cinder also needs TPLO surgery for a torn ligament in his right knee to relieve his pain and give him the chance to move comfortably again.

These surgeries will allow Bebe and Cinder to walk, run, and play — something every dog deserves. Each surgery is estimated at $6,500, and lifesaving care like this is possible through our Second Chance Program, which is funded entirely by donations from compassionate supporters like you.

Meet Daisy May, a 2-year-old Polish bunny with the sweetest personality. This little lady has done well with children and is curious and friendly. Like most bunnies, Daisy May enjoys exploring, and spending time with her people.

Rabbits make wonderful pets, but they do have needs to help them live their happiest, healthiest lives—from proper housing including space to roam and daily enrichment to a diet rich in hay and fresh greens. Daisy May is ready for a home that understands just how special (and smart!) bunnies are.

Meet Earl, a 12-year-old distinguished gentleman who is waiting for someone to see is star qualities. With his chubby cheeks, velvety-soft fur, and signature resting grumpy face, Earl is truly one of a kind.

He may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, you will fall in love with his personality. Earl is a total lover who enjoys being scratched, will happily roll over for chin rubs, and will even meow in protest if you dare stop too soon.

Meet Buffy The Heart Slayer! 💘

Buffy is 5-year-old sweetie pie who is truly the best of both worlds. She’s always down for an adventure, walk, or car ride but is just as happy to settle in for cozy couch snuggles.

This sweet, goofy girl is full of love and isn’t shy about sharing it. Expect lots of kisses, happy wiggles, and a constant reminder that life is more fun with Buffy by your side. She recently went on a field trip to a volunteer’s home and did great! She’s ready to trade shelter life for a place to call her own.

Flint is allergic to being ignored... He just loves everything! 🤗💕

If loving people were an Olympic sport, Flint would take home the gold. This 2-year-old, 49-lb sweetheart is a total people dog. Strangers? Friends he hasn’t met yet. Cuddles? Always yes. Attention? His favorite thing.

Flint recently enjoyed a Dog’s Day Out field trip, and proved that he’s the kind of dog who fits right in wherever he goes. He’s happy to trot along on a walk, soak up all the affection, then settle in for a cozy nap. Volunteers describe him as goofy, gentle, and incredibly loving. He’s polite, smart, and is the perfect balance of playful and chill.

If this iconic pink hat doesn’t help get Riley adopted, we don’t know what will! 🩷

Somehow, Riley has been with us for an ENTIRE YEAR. She’s not only adorable, she is perfect. At 5 years old, this gorgeous Plott Hound has mastered the art of being an excellent house companion. Riley is calm, low-key, and perfectly content spending her days napping in cozy spots or soaking up sunshine.

Although she loves her lounging, Riley is always happy to leash up for a walk or adventure. She walks politely on leash, has wonderful manners, and has done well with other dogs. Foster-approved and house-ready, Riley knows how to make herself right at home.

She may play it cool when you first meet her, but once she feels comfortable, Riley’s gentle and affectionate shines. Expect quiet snuggles, soulful eyes, and her signature move: placing a single paw on you as the most polite request for shared snacks. (It works every time.)

Don’t scroll by Beerus without saying hello (and telling him how cute he is!) 🤗🖤

Beerus is a 2-year-old fella who is a total lover boy. He recently enjoyed a weekend foster break and showed everyone just how wonderful he is in a home. Once comfortable, Beerus is all about cuddles, cozy time, and being right by your side.

He’s got a playful, goofy personality and loves his walks. His favorite thing ever is belly rubs! Bonus fun fact: Beerus firmly believes he is lap-sized at 72 pounds and loves being held like a baby!

Beerus can be sensitive to loud or unfamiliar noises, but he manages it well and just needs a patient, understanding person who can help him feel safe and secure. Once he picks his person, he’s all in as your loyal shadow.
