The Giles Takeover continues! And Giles has a shopping tip to share! šŸ¾

This handsome guy loves visiting his friends at Hollywood Feed - Rocky River where he gets to meet new people (and gets lots of love), enjoy some treats, and shop for goodies. Heā€™s always a perfect gentleman, even when other dogs are around!

And while youā€™re shopping, donā€™t forget to Paw it Forward for the Cleveland APL! šŸ’œ

From now until our Dick Goddard APL Telethon on Fox 8 on September 16, you can purchase a $5 Cleveland APL paw or round up your purchase at checkout at ALL local Hollywood Feed store, with proceeds directly benefiting the animals at the APL.

The Giles Takeover continues! šŸ¾ And today, weā€™re sharing 5 fun facts about Giles!

1. Heā€™s ready for fall adventures.
Pumpkin patches, fall festivities, weekend adventuresā€¦ Giles is ready to be your date! Heā€™s perfect company for all seasons.

2. Heā€™s not only handsome, heā€™s famous!
Giles was recently on New Day Cleveland to help promote an upcoming event. Weā€™re not saying youā€™ll be adopting a celebrity, butā€¦ youā€™ll definitely be adopting someone who knows how to work a camera.

3. Heā€™s a social guy!
Giles gets along well with other dogs, loves people, and even did great meeting kids! Heā€™s ready to make friends wherever he goes.

4. Giles LOVES water.
Hose? Yes. Bath? Absolutely. Sprinkler? Heā€™s there. If thereā€™s water involved, Giles would like to be invited.

5. Heā€™s the perfect errand buddy.
Giles enjoys tagging along, so youā€™ll never have to run errands alone again. Heā€™s basically your personal assistant.

At 10 years old, Buffy is a classy lady who knows exactly what she wants and sheā€™s not afraid to tell you! She enjoys people and loves some attention, but when sheā€™s decided her social battery is officially drained, you may get a firm little pat to let you know you can leave now.

In her previous home, Buffy was friendly and enjoyed people. Sheā€™s definitely a kitty who will keep you smiling and we know someone out there will adore her the way she deserves.

The Giles Takeover continues! And today, Giles has an important question for youā€¦

Do you know what your home is missing?

A very good boy.

Specificallyā€¦ Giles. šŸ„¹

Just look at him! Giles has clearly been doing some serious research on what heā€™d look like in a home, and we think he fits pretty well.

During his foster stays, Giles showed us just how happy and content he is in a home. Once he warms up, and it doesnā€™t take long, you get to see the real Giles: a sweet, easygoing guy who loves being with his people and is usually perfectly happy to lounge around and soak up the good life.

So if youā€™ve been thinking your couch looks a little empty, your home could be missing something very importantā€¦

Need National Dog Day plans? We've got you covered! šŸ¶šŸ¹

Tomorrow, August 26, bring your pup and join us at Barrio Tacos in Tremont for Yappy Hour on the patio from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for a fetching good time! Enjoy a Barkberry Lemonade or Pitty in Pink, and a portion of proceeds from these specialty cocktails will be donated to the Cleveland APL.

Can't make it to Tremont? These cocktails will be available at all Northeast Ohio Barrio locations. Don't miss this patio paw-ty as we celebrate our four-legged friends and support animals in need!

šŸšØ Special Pup-Date: GILES IS TAKING OVER! šŸšØ

If youā€™ve been following along, you may recognize this handsome guy. This is Giles, and we think itā€™s about time everyone got to know just how special he is. So, weā€™re letting him takeover the whole week.

You may have recently seen our friend, Sir Yacht, featuring Giles and helping him on his search for a family. Weā€™re so grateful for the extra help because this 8-year-old guy deserves to be in the spotlight!

Giles is silly, social, cuddly, and a staff and volunteer favorite. He was first adopted after coming to the APL through humane investigations, but after some life changes, he found himself back with us in April through no fault of his own.

Heā€™s been spending time in foster homes and has proven to be an excellent house guest. He loves being with his people, enjoys sunshine and plants, and would make an excellent work-from-home and backyard assistant. Heā€™s also done well with other dogs and all kinds of field trips.

Every day this week, weā€™ll be sharing a little more about this very good boy and why we think someone is going to be very lucky to bring him home.

Letā€™s come together to help Giles find his new family!
