Mufasa is a sweet and wiggly little guy who is ready to win your heart with his puppyish charms! This poor guy might have some itchy, patchy fur - he's currently being treated for demodex mange - but he hopes you can look past that! He's already a total cutie, so just imagine how handsome he'll be when he's all healed up with healthy fur!

At around a year old, Mufasa is a youthful love bug. He is energetic and playful but with a gentle disposition. He loves people and being as close as possible to snuggle! His ideal day would probably be split between playtime and cuddles. With other dogs in play group he was sociable with a gentler vibe.

Mufasa would love to find a home so he can get the TLC he deserves. He seems like he could be housebroken and he's ready to learn so much more with his family. Mufasa currently weighs about 37 lbs.

Skyla is checking in from a foster home! This sweet girl got overlooked at the kennel, but she's been showing that she is a very good girl and a joy to have around! Her host has learn so much about her and has wonderful things to say:

"Skyla is the sweetest, most loving doll of a Velcro dog with a tail-wag that doesn’t quit. She’s like a confidence-boosting weighted blanket who just wants to lay on or near you and gaze at you like you’re the most wonderful, beautiful person she’s ever seen. She was calm and eager to greet and cuddle with everyone in my family of varying ages/energy levels. Everyone adored her within minutes of a first meeting.

She’s been very easy to care for. She was excellent in the car and is totally housebroken - not a single accident yet). She sleeps well through the night and naps a lot of the day. Skyla LOVES to be around people but tolerates being left alone and will go into a wire crate (and she may do a little barking but settles down quickly.) She has also been okay being left along in a room of her own for a few hours. Skyla appears to have had at least some training: she knows sit and paw and seems to have good recall. She is gentle taking treats too. Skyla enjoys walking and exploring the world with her nose and she can be a strong puller, but she's willing to be redirected from exciting things and is receptive to further training.

Skyla is such a sweet, happy girl, and is clearly happiest in a home with one or more people to adore. A typical day for her involves cuddling, staring at her people adoringly, and short bouts of play time (fetch and tug seem to be her faves) followed by long naps. At the kennel, Skyla did well in play group socializing with dogs who were lower-key and had a gentler play style - but she seems like she would also be totally content in a human-only household.

Overall, Skyla is a sweet, easy, incredibly affectionate dog with so much love to give. She’ll melt your heart the second you meet her!"

Happy to Nemo! When he arrived at the kennel, Nemo was a squirmy, shy puppy. Now he's a happy, hunky, confident young adult! He's been growing up before our eyes the past few months - he's ready to find a home!

Nemo is still bursting with puppyish playfulness and lots of personality. Silly and energetic, Nemo likes to spending his days adventuring and playing. He likes to explore on walks, and always makes a point to stop at any bench he passes so he can get some cuddles! He is a dog who is sure to make you laugh.

Still a youngster, Nemo would benefit from a routine in an active household. He is endearingly clumsy, and can be a little all over the place on walks. He needs a little structure and consistency to continue to learn and grow. He picked up on "sit" quickly and seems like he could be housebroken. He wants to play with people and other dogs, but can get rowdy so could be overwhelming for some dogs or small kids while he's still learning.

Nemo is estimated to be around a year old and weighs 40 lbs.

Meet the latest Disney Princess... Winona!

Winona had a great time making friends at an event in Rocky River yesterday! She is a loving sweet potato who could spend all day getting pets (and then splooting in the shade). Like any princess deserves!

Currently living in a foster home, Winona has shown that she is spunky and personable, and is a great mix of playful and snuggly. She can go from bopping around with toys one minute to plopping down into her signature sploot the next. She's an expert couch potato and makes a great lower-key companion.

Even though she's a portly 70bs, Winona thinks she's a lap dog. She does appear to have had training in the past as she is housebroken and knows basic commands like sit. She can be crated or left alone and isn't destructive. Winona has potential with another lower-key dog, but would also be oh-so happy soaking up all the attention from her humans. She needs a home without cats.

So if you're looking for a lower-key companion who will just be happy as heck to see you whenever you come home, Winona is your gal. Winona is estimated to be around four years old.

There's something going around... it's the June Bug! This sweet, pretty hippo mama has a passion for playtime. She LOVES her toys, and can entertain herself endlessly bopping around with her favorites. Her joy is infectious and you'll be smiling when you see her delight about a good stuffie or rope toy.

June Bug is also quite bright and engaging. She already knows how to sit, and is quick to pick up on new cues. She'll be a fetch pro in no time. She also seems like she is housebroken, as she almost always keeps her space at the kennel clean. On a day trip to a volunteer's home, she was overall well-mannered and respectful in the house. She was just happy to be part of the action.

June Bug would love to find a home where she can go for walks and have plenty of play time. In play group with other dogs, she was playful but could have a bossy style, so a meet with any resident dog would help to see if the personalities click. She's also quite comfortable soaking up all the attention from people for herself.
Miss June Bug is is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs a stout 59 lbs.

Make a splash with Dolphin! Dolphin turns heads with his unique color and handsome looks, and he steals hearts with this friendly charms and charisma.

Dolphin is a fun, social guy who is simply a joy to be around. He has an amazing wigglebutt and is always stoked to make friends with people. And he is just as snuggly and affectionate as he is wiggly! Dolphin has also been a regular in play groups where he enjoys playing with other dogs (with some preference for the lady dogs.)

Dolphin is a well-rounded young dog. He is active and playful, and adores his toys. He has a bright mind and knows how to sit, he's just working on holding still for long stretches of time 😉 He also seems housebroken. Overall Dolphin is an engaging, silly charmer of a pup. We think he'll make a great buddy for lots of fun and adventures and then plenty of cuddles on the couch.

Yomi is a happy, beautiful sweetheart who is easy to love. Her affectionate, easy-going disposition quickly earned her many fans.

Currently living in a foster home, Yomi has shown that she is delightfully cuddly and affectionate. She loves spending time with her people! She is great at matching your energy. If you are up for a walk or play time, she's game - but she's also ready to hang out and relax. Sunbathing is one of her favorite hobbies! Yomi has been living with an older resident dog in her foster home and does well at reading her cues and hanging out, but seems like she could also enjoy a canine playmate.

Yomi has shown that she's pretty easy house guest to have around. She is housebroken although she does not like to go outside when it rains. She has not been destructive when left on her own. You may have seen her on a recent episode of Paw & Order SVU (Stuffie Victims Unit) as she is quite skilled at dismantling stuffed dog toys to locate the squeakers.

She is excited with he greetings when new people come to visit her, but she's working on settling down. She is getting training so she manage her enthusiasm.

Yomi is also a trooper - she recently underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL, but she is almost done with her period of recovery and she's looking forward to getting back out and about in a home of her own!

Oh Mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind!

Mickey is a happy-go-lucky good boy. Friendly and engaging, and he loves getting attention. He's a total people-pleaser and lights up with praise and affection.
Mickey has also been playful with other dogs in our play groups, where he is a regular.

Mickey is around a year old, so still a youngster. He has some energy but after an initial burst of gleeful excitement, he tends to settle down pretty well. Toys delight him - especially ones with squeakers! - and he is great at entertaining himself for a while. Plus, he's a total water dog.

Mickey may be a goofball at times, but he also has some smarts and manners already. He knows how to sit and takes his treats gently. He also seems like he could he housebroken as he usually keeps his kennel clean and does his business outdoors.

How gorgeous is Brook! In addition to being model material, she is a fun-loving, vivacious lady with a big heart and playful spirit. Her bright, bubbly, silly personality is totally infectious.

Brook is curious and eager to discover new things. She's a go-getter and is sure to help you get moving and explore. Her silliness, especially when the toys come out, also makes her quite entertaining to be around. She is also a smarty: she already knows how to sit and lay down, and she seems housebroken. She seems like she would be quick to learn more once in a home. She's currently working on gaining even more skills in a training class at Cold Nose Companions!

Once she's had a chance to stretch her legs a bit, Brook shows what a sweetheart she is. She loves to take breaks on our benches where she can hang out and cuddle with someone. Brook has also been friendly with other dogs she's met in play group.
Brook can't wait to bust out of the kennel so she can soak up all that the world has to offer with her person by her side. She is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs 44 lbs.

Abba Gabba is an amazing gal. Everyone who meets her gushes about her sweet, calm disposition. She gets all the "As:" attentive, affectionate, adorable!

Abba Gabba really enjoys spending time with people and tunes in well with her walks. She walks well on leash and enjoys taking plenty of breaks to snuggle. Take a seat on a bench and she may hop right up to join you in watchin the world go by - and we can only imagine she would love to snuggle on a couch.

Abba Gabba knows how to sit, takes treats nicely, and we think she will be housebroken once she has a regular routine. In play groups, she has been sociable greeting other dogs. She is estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs 52 lbs.
