Harry is reporting for duty on Christmas Eve - he's ready to pull Santa's sleigh!

Harry is a happy-go-lucky goofball who is ready to be someone's new sidekick. A friendly fellow, he is sweet greeting people lights up with affection. Get ready for plenty of snuggle time on the couch at the end of the day! Harry is engaging and people-oriented and hits a great balance of active yet easy-going.

Good-natured Harry seems like he has had some training in the past. He keeps his kennel tidy, so we believe he could be housebroken. On walks he is manageable on leash and listens well. He knows how to sit and is quite treat-motivated, which makes him an eager student. At a community event, Harry made a good ambassador, greeting people with good manners and staying calm among busy crowds, including other dogs. In play group, Harry showed a gentler socialization style.

Harry is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs a compact 40 lbs. This brindle buddy is another one who is feeling the stress of the kennel - he's asking Santa for a home!

Cindy Who? It's Cindy Lou!

Cindy Lou is a fun-loving gal who is bursting with joyful energy. A zoomie queen and wiggle butt supreme, she is super silly and a total delight to spend time with. She lights up with company and loves to make new friends. Basically, she is a recipe for instant smiles!

Cindy Lou loves to run and play and would enjoy an active family with plenty of fun and adventure! She is also a regular in our play groups with other dogs and might enjoy another playful canine companion in her future home.

Cindy also has a few basics down. She consistently keeps her kennel clean so she could be housebroken. She is also gentle taking treats and walks decently on leash much of the time. She can be bouncy when she gets excited, but listens well and seems like she'll really thrive when she gets into a home routine.

Overall, Cindy Lou is a lovely, bright young dog waiting to be your new bestie. Oh, and she rocks a good accessory! She is estimated to be around a year old and weighs 42 lbs.

You'll be glad to meet Gladys! This petite sweetheart has really come out of her shell and is ready to give you her whole heart this holiday.

When Gladys first arrived at the kennel, she was a shy little thing, but she warmed up with patience and kindness and learned to be more brave. Once she is feeling comfortable, she is a perky, playful love bug. Her favorite thing is being closer to her person and is a total snuggle bug! She would love a home where she can spend lots of time with her people - being in your company is her favorite pastime.

Another way to Glady's heart is treats! She’s a smart cookie who thrives in a home environment. She is quick to pick up on the house training routine. She also rides well in the car and enjoys going for walks together. With other dogs in play group, Gladys was gently social, but she is looking for a home without cats.

Overall, Gladys is a peppy yet mild-mannered doll. Gladys is estimated to be 4 years old and weighs about 35 lbs, showing that great things come in small (and adorable) packages.

Meet jolly Jellybean!

Jellybean is a bright, loving girl who has been shining in a foster home. She identifies as a lap dog and loves spending time with her people and giving kisses! Currently living in a foster home, she has shown good manners and a delightful playful personality.

Jellybean loves her toys, and can easily entertain herself by tossing them gleefully around. She also enjoys stretching her legs on walks, but then her favorite activity is to come home and sit on top of or leaning on her human.

In her foster home, Jellybean has shown some solid smarts already. She is housebroken and does great in her crate after recognizing it as a safe space. She still has moments of getting excited and jumpy, but as she settles into her routine she gets more and more relaxed and overall has a moderate energy level. Jellybean has shown potential with cats - she can calmly hangout with the resident social cat in her foster home. With other dogs, she was sociable in play groups at the kennel, but seems to vibe better with some personalities more than others.

Jellybean makes a loving companion who is just happy to have your company. She is estimated to be around 5 years old and weighs 57 lbs.

Meet Drew! A happy, affectionate boy who strikes the perfect balance between playful fun and snuggly sidekick. He enjoys staying active and having a good time but keeps it easy-going, and when it’s time to unwind, he’s happiest curled up right next to his people.

Drew walks nicely on leash, making neighborhood strolls easy and enjoyable. Drew appears to be potty trained and already knows some great basics like sit, paw, and lay down. He is a smart boy who loves to learn! He does well in his crate and settles in comfortably.

During a recent sleepover, Drew showed promising potential with cats and, with proper introductions, could do well in a home with feline friends. He’s affectionate, eager to please, and ready to keep building on his good manners with his future family.

Drew did test positive for heartworm disease upon arrival, but the good news is that it’s treatable, and the cost of his treatment is covered thanks to of City Dogs. He’ll just need a calm, loving home where he can rest and recover during treatment before returning to normal dog activities. Fortunately, he is very good at being a couch potato and snuggle buddy.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s up for adventures but just as happy with couch cuddles, Drew might be your perfect match. Drew is around 2 years old and weighs 40 lbs.

Meet Strawbarry, a sweet yet sensitive little sq**rt with a lot of love to give.

On a day trip, Strawbarry got to show off that he is a loving little guy who is a playful, cuddly, and fun puppy. He is also perfectly pint-sized and takes direction well. Despite the fact he dodges the camera, he's a great companion!

At the kennel, Strawbarry has shown he can be shy and unsure at first, but with a little time to get to know someone he is quick to warm up and grow affectionate. If you enjoy earning a dog's trust and watching them blossom, Strawbarry will be a rewarding and loving companion. With other dogs in play group, he has been playful with a gentle/dainty play style.

Strawbarry is around 9 months old and weighs 34 lbs.

Syrena's day out! During a day away from the kennel, Syrena showed that she can be a low key, gentle, big d***y girl. She loves people and getting pampered! She also has the cutest looks - totally unbothered.

More about Syrena:
⭐️ easy to harness and doesn't mind wearing pajamas
⭐️ jumped right into the car and was an A+ passenger. Loves sitting in the back and watching out the windows.
⭐️ at Animal Zen (an indoor dog play place), she was willing to follow treats around the tunnels - but might not be much of an agility dog :)
⭐️ she is a great office guess!
🎅🏻 she got a visit from Santa and was so well behaved and friendly.
⭐️ Loooves chewing bones - still learning about toys.

Syrena tested positive for heartworm when she arrived at the kennel, but she doesn't want to let this stop her from living life to the fullest. Fortunately, heartworm is treatable and cost is covered thanks to Friends of City Dogs. She just need a calm, loving home where she can rest and recover - plenty of time to luxuriate and relax.

If you're looking for a lovable smoosh who is stout, sturdy and sweet, Syrena is your girl! Syrena is around 6 years old and weighs 68 lbs.
