For months we've been preserving our freshly-harvested produce, planning menus, sourcing ingredients, and recipe testing. And it's finally time to share with you! When the view of Cleveland's skyline from our office looks like this, you know the seasons are changing! Next week is the winter solstice, which always brings a slower pace to farm life. Our store is now closed for a winter hiatus, and things will look much quieter here for a few weeks. But behind the scenes, our team is working hard to bring you something we've never done before: a brand new Winter CSA program, including a prepared meal subscription option. Curious? 👇

We have reached our last week of farm store hours for the season! Next week we will be temporarily closing up shop for the winter while we work on building out the store displays to full capacity for our grand opening in the spring.

Be sure to stop by this Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturday 8am - 4pm for holiday shopping and to help us clear our stock of perishable goods before the hiatus! We have lots of great gifts in store (see our gift guide a few posts before this one) and will offer discounts on almost everything in the grocery.

What's in a Winter Produce CSA share? A whole lot of local flavor, color, and nutrition. 🤩 Expect to receive winter favorites like hearty squash, crisp root vegetables, leafy greens, fruit, and mushrooms. All grown locally, either here at OCF or at other nearby farms. Order by the month- preorders are open now for the months of January and February.

Hi! Against better judgement, we're sneaking a pretty big announcement into the world during a very busy holiday weekend and hoping you might take a moment to read and share with your friends and maybe even sign up.

Here's the announcement: This winter, we are offering THREE different box options in our CSA program, including a prepared meals subscription.

1) Prepared Meals Subscription- fully cooked meals distributed weekly, all ready to eat or heat and eat.

2) Local Produce Share- similar to our Fall CSA program, a weekly box of locally-grown fresh produce.

3) Kitchen Staples Share- a weekly box of locally-produced kitchen staples like milk, eggs, grains, beans, butter, tofu, cheese and more.
