With 8 years of experience in the veterinary field, Mikaela has been an incredible part of our team. After welcoming her first baby, she transitioned into a remote administrative role, where she continues to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. 🐾💻

Meet Percy, our adorable 10-week-old Golden Retriever who came to see us for the very first time this week! 💛

He brought so much love and so many smiles to our staff during his visit — and he was such a good boy for his vaccines! 🩺🐶

Everyone, meet Ava, a brave 3-year-old Cane Corso who came to see us for the very first time on Monday! 💕

Even though she was a little nervous at first, with lots of patience from our team, some tasty treats, and plenty of positive encouragement, Ava showed just how brave she can be. She completed her full exam like a true champ! 🦴✨

🌟 Happy Veterinary Practice Manager Appreciation Week! 🌟

This week, we’re celebrating Megan, CVPM, the heart of Barker Animal Hospital! 💙

Megan has been with us since the very beginning, and her dedication shines through every single day. She started her journey as a veterinary assistant and, through hard work and passion, worked her way up to become our Practice Manager—earning her CVPM certification in 2021!

Megan is always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed, keeping our hospital running smoothly while maintaining a positive, supportive atmosphere for our pets, clients, and team. 🐾

And because she never stops learning or giving, she’s currently in school pursuing her LVT, ensuring she can help her team in every way possible—even stepping in on the clinical side when needed!

Megan, we hope you feel loved, appreciated, and seen this week. Veterinary medicine can be challenging, but having the right leader makes all the difference. You make coming to work easy, fun, and meaningful. 💕

We had the best week meeting some pawsitively adorable new faces and welcoming them to our Barker family! 💕

✨ Bella – a 5-month-old Belgian Malinois with boundless energy and the sweetest spirit.
❄️ Alaska – a 13-week-old Maltipoo who melted our hearts with her cuddles and charm.
🐶 Yuki – a 15-week-old French Bulldog with a big personality and even bigger puppy eyes!

Each one of these cuties was such a superstar for their visit — we’re so excited to watch them grow!
