For those that may need to seek veterinary care over the holidays Veterinary Emergency & Specialty of Tidewater has extended their hours to accommodate!

To be available when you need us most this holiday season, we’ve expanded our hours. VEST will provide 24-hour emergency care from December 19 through January 7. Our emergency crew will be on-site around the clock to assist with any urgent or emergent needs.

In addition, cardiology appointments are available January 3rd & 4th. ❤️

It's getting chilly! 🥶Cold weather can affect your pet's joints, skin, activity, and routines. Here are a few tips to prepare your pet for wintertime:
- Provide a warm and cozy space off of the floor and away from drafts
- Sweaters or jackets are great for short-haired, small or senior pets
- Limit your pet's time outside in the extreme cold
- Some pets' nutrition needs might change during the winter. Talk to your vet if you think this might be the case.

Charlie finished his sixth and final chemotherapy visit with us yesterday! He has been such a brave boy for each and every treatment and was very happy to celebrate his chemo graduation with some cheese and a new toy!!
