🐾🕯️ This Día de los Mu***os, we’re honoring the beloved pets of our team members who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

While October 27 is traditionally dedicated to remembering our beloved animal companions who are no longer with us, we've chosen to share this tribute on Día de los Angelitos, to lovingly honor the angels who brought so much happiness, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives.

Though their time with us may have been far too short, the love they leave behind lasts a lifetime. Today, we remember their playful spirits, cherished memories, and the paw prints they left on our hearts.

Forever loved, never forgotten.

If you would like to share photos and memories of your own little angels that have crossed the Bridge, we would love to share this day of remembrance with you, as well.

Happy Vet Tech Appreciation Week!

Our veterinary technicians are the heart of the CVH family! They've come to us with a lifelong love of animals, but their dedication, compassion, and drive is what makes them so special!

They're dental hygienists, pharmacists, X-ray technicians, anesthesiologists, groomers, and so much more. They comfort and care for every patient that comes through the door, and above all they're advocates for the voiceless and comforters for the ones who need it the most.

To all the vet techs who give their hearts every day to the animals they love — thank you for making a difference, one paw at a time!

Preacher, the winner of last year's Holiday Costume Contest, would like to remind you that spooky season is upon us again, which means it's time for the annual pet costume contest!

Please send photos of your pet in costume to [email protected] by Sunday, October 18. Once all entries are collected, voting will be opened from 10/19 - 10/29 (10 days to choose your favorite, and encourage your friends to vote, too).

Winner to be announced on Saturday, October 31! A goodie prize will be gifted to the winning costume!

After much trial and error, and many tests, Sadie is finally pregnant, and carrying another generation of soon-to-be service dogs in training!

🐈Say hello to Weevil, a 5-month-old orange fluffball with the confidence of a lion and the lap manners of a professional.

This playful, sociable little guy is fearless, wonderfully vocal, and always ready for his next adventure. When he’s not zooming around the house, he’s happiest curled up in your lap, soaking up scratches and attention.

Weevil spent several weeks boarding at a veterinary office, and now he’s ready for the really important stuff: a home, a family, and a lifetime of being adored.

Of course, being orange, Weevil participates in the well-documented tradition of sharing one communal brain cell with all the other orange cats. Whether it’s his turn to use it is anyone’s guess—but he’ll keep you entertained while you wait!

He’s been around dogs and other cats while boarding, but hasn’t interacted with them directly, so any introductions to resident pets should be slow and supervised.

If you’re looking for a fluffy, affectionate, hilarious little sidekick, Weevil would love to meet you. 🐱
