At East Side Animal Hospital, we offer fine needle aspirates and cytology—a quick, minimally invasive test that allows us to collect cells from a growth using a small needle and examine them under the microscope. In many cases, this simple procedure takes just a few minutes and can provide valuable information and peace of mind.
For additional expertise, samples can also be submitted to a board-certified veterinary pathologist for review.
