Springtime is baby chick time at the farm!🐣

Eli and I picked out some babies, & we've been having fun watching them grow 💛

For some reason, this lil girl with white tipped wings🪽 attached BIG TIME to me!!

She hops happily away from the cuddly flock, steps willingly onto my hand, and often refuses to get down when I go to put her back- she even wants me to carry her around in my sweatshirt pocket 😆🥰

Today, Elijah found her holding her teeny tiny leg out, non weight bearing. She was chirping loudly, and separated from the rest of the girls.

I immediately put her on the PEMF chair, turned up quite high. She calmed down instantly, and has been on it for 30 minutes now. I'm not sure if it'll be enough to help her, but I'm hoping so.

Birds are incredibly sensitive to electromagnetic frequency. They utilize it from the planet to determine when they migrate. Dolphins utilize it as well, as do many fish and whales.

What the leaders in medicine, science, biology, and the like are discovering about electromagnetic frequencies and it's positive affects on all living creatures is expanding daily.

I love this life!!

Chemo.
Endurance Racing during treatment.
More Chemo.
To the World's Toughest One Day, 100 Mile Endurance Race just 1 yr post treatment and post many many surgeries.

No one can tell you when your time here is up, or what you're capable of when you reach deep, when you really want to live, when you have a tiny person looking in your eyes every morning and asking you if mama is going to get out of bed today to come play.

Whatever the reason is that will keep you going...
Keep GOING❣️

Warm Springs 🐎

I used to drive through every two weeks, sometimes more frequently, during chemo treatment and my overall past 4 year monitoring post treatment at becoming very familiar with the herd.

I remembered the different bands (micro herds within the herd), their unique coloring specific to each stallion, and their numbers.

I would get so excited to count the babies in the spring, and to watch them play, chasing the "babysitter" mare (yes, Mustangs delegate specific mares to watch the babies in groups, for protection, and to teach them about herd dynamics and manners of the hierarchy - these horses are of a higher intelligence than most humans realize).

The excitement to drive through each spring would build. Until one year, after a massive cull of the herd.
💔
I only found a few horses.
💔
For nearly two years, alone, I cried every time I drove to OHSU Oncology through Warm Springs, unable to spot more than a few horses every time I traveled when I normally counted upwards of 30-40.

Many of the bands had vanished. It was two years before their numbers started to come back, just this season.

We are wiping the Mustang from the wild, & locking them up in holding cells, called BLM holding facilities, until they are adopted (very very small percentage is adopted).
The rest are shipped to an atrocious slaughter.
How we as living beings can justify this, is beyond my comprehension.
If you agree with slaughter, I'll ask you to politely unfriend me; I'm not here to debate your personal opinion.

Empathy is free.

Have we not learned by cutting down entire rain forests, or trees that are thousands of years old that we can't replace them?
Or by the extinction of species, that they don't magically reappear, and they are gone forever??
That their place in the ecosystem is invaluable? And that the planet is suffering because of their absence?
💔
My heart will never understand.
But for now, my photos and my voice will have to be enough.

Please educate yourself if you haven't already, on the importance of preservation of the beautiful Mustang to support keeping them wild 🐎

Getting the Big Girl ready to haul to this Wednesday!!

I'll be picking up my fav stallion Salute, owned by one of my closest friends who happens to be an amazing Endurance Rider, Jayamae on my way down. 🤩

I'm competing with Salute on day 3 of Fire 🔥 Mountain after the first 2 days📸🏇

I'm INCREDIBLY grateful to Jaya for the opportunity to again compete w/ her VERY well bred stallion!💛 I cannot wait to breed to him this Spring!! If you're looking for a stallion to sire your next Endurance / Sporthorse, this is IT 🤩

Salute is:
✨Well mannered
✨Falls in the top 2% of most comfortable horses I've ever ridden (& I've ridden a TON of horses in my lifetime)
✨Is wicked easy to handle even around mares during breeding season
✨Was brought up thoughtfully and slowly by Jaya and not raced
✨ Loves his job
✨Is as Leggy as the day is long!
✨Conformationally correct

Seasoned rider Addy is joining me w/ Jaya's mare, riding 3 days of 50 mile rides💪 We've ridden multiple rides together, but haven't done a ride since 2024 which was Addy's first attempt at Tevis, the toughest 100 mile ride in the world⛰️

The 3 of us rode Tevis together that year, and had a blast, so I'm really looking forward to Fire Mountain w/ Addy (and secretly sad/jelly that Jaya is on vacay by the ocean, & can't make it 😘)!

I've met a few people who were simply born to do Endurance; BOTH Addy & Jaya are two of them. I admire Jaya more than words can express, for her perseverance through adversity in this life, her recovery after the Paradise Fire, and how she continues to lift everyone around her up despite such loss in this lifetime; THAT'S what this is all about. 💛

Trauma can be our Superpower, not our crutch. That's up to the individual to decide. It all depends on how we view, process, & choose to live after experiencing devastation 🩵

When you find your tribe, there's no need to hang on for dear life; you sync up naturally, & the universe/God will not let you part ways✨

Send good energy that the pass stays clear of snow & ice for me to safely get to Cali & onto Fire Mountain 🙌

Horses bring balance and harmony to our world through their extraordinary ability to bond — and through the powerful electromagnetic fields generated by their hearts.

Research has shown that a horse’s heart-centered electromagnetic field extends significantly farther than a human’s, and when we are in their presence, measurable changes can occur in our nervous systems ✨

When humans spend time with horses, heart rate and blood pressure have been shown to decrease, and the body shifts into a calmer, regulated parasympathetic state. This is where true connection lives — in regulation, presence, and flow 🤝

I'm so lucky to be invited into the world of bonded healing between human and horse; performing PEMF with my EQ-X1 machine and witnessing something I never tire of...horses and humans softening together, bonding through shared regulation and energetic balance in real time✨

Being invited into the private, delicate relationship between a horse and their human — whether owner or trainer — has been the greatest gift of my career. I truly love what I do. I believe we cannot fully understand others until we are willing to be in service to them during their time of need 💙

Horses ARE therapy in so many ways.
When we’re open to it, they teach us how to co-regulate, communicate more clearly, and find balance — not just while under saddle, but in our daily lives.

What can’t horses teach us? 🙌
They truly are an elevated species 💗

So proud of Val on her Endurance training ride, she's a powerhouse!!💪🔥🏇

Looking forward to many, many more hours in the saddle training with her. 🙌

These horses are incredible and I'm so thankful for them- they get regular Equine Bodywork and PEMF with my Pulse EQ-X1 by yours truly to keep their bodies in great shape, recovering their best, and performing at max capacity 🫶

Secure Attachment is the goal💛

Attachment Theory definitions can explain so much about how we function in all relationships.

In my experience, it's opened my world over the past few years, helping me understand my past & present, & to assist my healing.

is one to research; as a Swiss psychotherapist, founder of the School of Analytical Psychotherapy, author of over 20 books his theories are extremely valuable to understanding how our attachments as babies to our caregivers manifest in all our relationships as adults.

Carl Jung also teaches how to Securely move about in the world of relationships ❤️

In my journey healing my body from damage cancer treatment did, keeping cancer that almost killed me from ever returning, combined with all the healing work I do with horses, humans & other animals one thing is always very clear;

We are NEVER finished healing. But the best part of all of this?

We humans are MASTER HEALERS✨

Part of these teachings dive into how if we aren't careful, without awareness, w/ unhealed trauma, it can be triggered when our Nervous System recognizes something familiar in another human (said trauma) & we trauma bond easily to that human, then create a relationship while believing we are connecting on a soul, karmic, or heart level.

These are traumatic & dangerous ways of intermingling our hearts w/ past & present unhealed traumas. The trauma may be buried so we aren't aware of it, then it's dug up & triggered by the connection with the other person.

We aren't aware that the connection isn't grounded in love, because our Nervous System is doing it's job; it's hijacked our decision making area of the brain, overriding it due to recognizing the familiar trauma in said partner which is the attachment to your early caregivers, & drawing you to that person, creating a STRONG connection based in the way you connected as a child to your early caregivers. All thru unhealed trauma.

You've done NOTHING WRONG in this situation; your Autonomic Nervous System, which is automatic meaning we don't control it, it automatically kicks in, has taken over to draw you to that person.

Sit with animals quietly,
And they will show you their hearts.
Sit with animals kindly,
And they will help you locate yours.
✨🩵✨🩵✨

I have had the pleasure, and found the beauty, in the pain of consulting many of my clients as they assist their beautiful horses with crossing over. 🌈

My heart is with one of my favorite humans who just made this tough call.

There's so much beauty while our hearts are wide open, flowing with so much tenderness and love, and breaking at the same moment in time.

I'm not sure life gets any more vulnerable than this; where we are actively loving, caring, and breaking in half.

Our horses give us so much, and we return it when we listen to their needs 🩵

This looks different for every horse owner.

My heart is with that beautiful ginger girl I was lucky to get to know, she's now running free and wild; your Mama will see you again over that Rainbow one day 🌈 🫶✨🩵
