We started the say with a Legislative briefing from our Central Louisiana Legislative Caucus members, followed by lunch and a meeting with Governor Landry. Last week, our YPG of Cenla members had the chance to take an active role in shaping our community’s future at our March Lunch & Learn, Building a Better Cenla: Philanthropy in Practice.

Hosted by the Central Louisiana Community Foundation (CLCF), this event allowed for us to see how local giving makes a real impact. Three nonprofit organizations shared their projects, and we had the unique opportunity to vote on which one we'd like to see receive a $75,000 Grants Endowment!

The recipient of this year's $75,000 Grants Endowment will be announced soon so stay in touch with CLCF!

Get to know YPG Secretary, Britni Lilley! 💜💚

Britni is the Marketing and Communications Manager at Louisiana Central, where she leads marketing strategies, public relations, and content development. A graduate of LSU Alexandria with a passion for impactful messaging, she thrives on connecting people and elevating stories that make a difference.

Born and raised in Lecompte, Louisiana, Britni’s journey took her to Lafayette, where she met her Canadian husband, and later to Alberta, Canada. Ultimately, their hearts led them back to Central Louisiana, where they now call home with their three children.

Britni is actively involved in her community, serving as VP of Communications for the Public Relations Association of Louisiana’s Central Chapter and as Secretary for the Young Professionals Group of Cenla, while also contributing to various committees. She is currently working toward her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). In addition to her professional and community involvement, she finds joy in supporting and watching her children participate in sports and extracurricular activities.

A lover of travel, art, animals, meeting new people, music, learning and quality time with family and friends, Britni values growth, service, and embracing new experiences. One of her favorite quotes is:
