Crooked Creek's Dixie Rose x Double Ott's Waylon pups are 11wks old this Sunday! All solid red like their dad with some pretty little voices, too. Been on hyde and blood. They are love to tug and gnaw. Hopefully, the rain will let up this weekend and we can run a little trail for them. They'll be gettin their 2nd set of shots soon. 2 girls. 4 boys. Hubs put put on short trail with wind blowing pretty good today. All did well. Unfortunately, no pics because I was still giving tests to the kiddos individually. A storm is supposed to blow in tonight so, I'll let yall know when it dries enough for new pics and a video of a new practice run. Again, these are short trails.

This litter of pups are showing great potential in becoming awesome trackers. 2 females and 4 males are left. All are nose to ground. Yesterday, my husband drug a 70ft trail, which was a little too long for their 2nd time, but all stayed on it for most of trail before they back tracked. Stay tuned for more updates. Pups are 8wks old today. They've been eating dry feed since 4wks, but still get mama's milk. Due to my husband's work schedule and me getting COVID thang. Saturday was their 1st time on Hyde. Every one of them did amazing!!! I have video and pictures as well as individual pictures that took Friday evening. I will upload sometime today bc they're on my husband's phone. Also, my husband decided to keep a Lil female so that only leaves 2 females and 4 males. 1st round of shots have been given.

Due to my girls and I all 3 having covid today was the first day pups got a deer bone. As soon as video loads from my husband's phone I'll post. I was pleased. We'll add blood and Hyde as well. I'm still coughing alot and running out of air. Running blood trails are a little tough and this weekend the hub is off. Stay tuned

Today the pups tried their first bit of dry food when I fed Dixie. Boy, did they tried to tear it up. Also,all you could hear was growling and tantrums! They're growing like weeds

Dixie and pups are back in kennel. The pups are moving around more. Dixie is leaving them for longer periods. We will probably start wet food tomorrow.

Have yall met Dixie? She eats like a human, but get on to her once....she'll tear you n your entire house up. Let that shot be a no hit....whatever she is left in while the talks commense.....ITS GONE. She gets whatever she wants, but lort she got a ttude.
