🦜 Looking for the Perfect Home for Willow 🦜
Bayou Bend Aviary is helping a family find the right forever home for this sweet girl.
💚 Willow
• 3-year-old female Indian Ringneck (gray/white)
• Talks! She says “Willow, Willow” and “Peekaboo.”
• Extremely affectionate and loves being with her person
• Enjoys showers, sitting on your shoulder or head, and being included in daily life
• Eats BirdTricks pellets along with fresh chop
• Loves pine nuts and millet as treats
• Smart, food motivated, and knows “Let’s go” as her step-up command
• Mostly potty trained
• Flighted, but prefers to ride around with her favorite person
Willow’s owner loves her dearly and is making this incredibly difficult decision because work no longer allows her to give Willow the constant companionship she craves. Willow is happiest in a home where someone is around much of the day. She is truly a “Velcro bird” and is looking for someone who wants a close companion.
She has been around dogs and cats, and with proper introductions, she may do well bonding with another parrot. Like many parrots, she can become defensive if she’s frightened, but she has made wonderful progress and generally chooses to warn rather than bite.

• Her cage
• Toys
• Remaining food and treats
