They were in recently with Vet Amy for their first health check including their vaccinations and microchip. They were the bravest little pups 🐶🥇

Cara may not have been feeling her best during her visit, but she was still a 10/10 model for the camera 📸💕
Safe to say the reception team were completely smitten 🥰

Ever wonder how patients look after anaesthesia.
This sleepy boy is Damian who had a dental with us recently 💤🦷🪥
He was all cozy wrapped up in his blanket to keep warm 🔥
Once he was awake enough he got plenty of cuddles from the nurses before going home ❤️

Not our usual patient in this week 🦔💕

This little hedgehog paid us a visit and was an instant hit.
Vet Amy provided gentle and thorough care to our spiky little patient. The nurses made sure they were comfortable throughout their check-up with plenty of cuddles 🩺😊

Cheers to our Recentionists AKA the heartheat of our practice ❤️
They were too busy running the show today to catch on camera 📸
Triaging phone calls, organising all of our schedules, comforting pet owners coming into practice, the more ordinary receptionist jobs and a million other jobs they do it keep the practice going... all whilst keeping a smile on their face! 😁
It’s an understatement to say how vital our receptionists are to the running of our practice and we would be utterly lost without them. 🙏❤️🦸‍♂️

To our receptionists team, Thank you for everything you do for us 🫶

A cleaner smile starts here 🦷✨

Swipe to see the difference a descale and polish can make 🦷🪥 🐾

This patient is Barney. A 5 year old border collie who came in because he had very bad breath😷
As you can see in the photos his teeth had a lot of tartar build up which led to his gums becoming very irritated and inflamed.
Luckily for Barney his owners brought him in early enough that there was no tooth decay .This meant he didn’t need to have any teeth extracted. He left us with a gorgeous bright smile feeling like a new dog 🥰🦷❤️

How to know if your pet needs a dental?
✅Does their breath small bad ?
✅Are their gums red/inflamed ?
✅Can you see brown discolouration/ tartar on their teeth?
✅Behaviour change - reluctant to let you touch their face?
✅Are they chewing more on one side, dropping food or avoiding hard food/treats

Think your pet might need a dental?

If anything above sounds familiar, it’s worth getting it checked out. Dental issues can progress quickly, but are much easier to treat when caught early on 🦷🪥

Still unsure ?
-Pop in for our dental care leaflet, this has in-depth information on how to care for your pets teeth
OR
-Give us a call on 021 4613672 for any questions or to book an appointment ❤️

Today is Parvo awareness day 🦠😷🚫

Parvo stands for parvovirus which is a highly contagious viral disease that can be fatal. For this reason we vaccinate all dogs against Parvovirus to prevent the spread of this deadly disease. 🚫
Puppies such as Archie here are vaccinated against parvovirus from 6 weeks old and will get a yearly booster to protect against infection . The more Dogs and puppies vaccinated against this disease the less likely it is to spread . ✅
Help prevent the spread of Parvo by keeping your dog up to date with their yearly vaccinations 💉 🩺❤️‍🩹

Give us a call on 021 4613672 if you believe your pet may need their vaccinations, or if you’re unsure when their booster is due.
We’re happy to answer any questions you may have. 📞🐶💉
