🌞 Heat Stroke can be a life threatening condition for your pets! 🐾

With the current high temperatures our pets are unable to cool themselves down quick enough. To help them during this time, please consider the following:
1) Provide them with cool shady areas
2) Ensure they have fresh water daily and place some ice within to keep it cool
3) Avoid taking walks when the temperature is at its highest, especially if you have an elderly dog or a breed predisposed to breathing problems.

If you are concerned at all call your Vet immediately and seek advise.

Happy May Day long weekend 😁 Summer has started with an absolutely gorgeous start. May you all be blessed this season and stay safe. 🌞 Remember our animals are sun lovers too and love being active with us. However, they are not necessarily used to the temperature changes and heat stroke is a common threat for them during this time. Keep them safe with plenty of shady spots and fresh water daily. If you are out and about be aware of their panting and energy levels, as well as what they are eating and drinking. Heat stroke and poisoning can happen so suddenly when you are not prepared. In a case of any emergency please contact our Vet on call on 0214613672. Enjoy 🌻

The darker the chocolate the more toxic they can be to your pets. If in doubt, pls call the Vet and ensure your pets are safe if they have ingested any of these chocolate treats.
