Rufus is missing from the Mallowgaton, North of Bandon/Newcestown area since lunch time yesterday. He was scared by the thunder. Rufus could be anywhere at this stage. Please share far and wide, telelphone (086) 211 2850 with any sightings.

We’ve named this gorgeous boy George.He is a lionhead lop mix and was surrendered into a vet clinic in cork almost a month ago.After two weeks trying to get him a place in rescue,George came to us.He’s now been with us 10 days.Due to severe matting,we had to shave most of his hair off,some of the knots were so tight they had torn his skin😢He was a super brave boy though,we groomed him in stages to minimize stress.Now he’s flying around the run sniffing at the other bunnies and is on the road to recovery☺️We’ll keep you all updated on his progress❤️

Our African Grey parrot, Kei, flew away yesterday, Tuesday 12 May 2026, from Kilgarriffe, Clonakilty, Co. Cork.
Kei is 11 years old, very tame, hand-reared, and deeply loved.
She is ringed and microchipped.
She may be frightened and sitting quietly in a tree, hedge, shed, barn, roof, garden, field boundary, or near houses. She may not call out even if people are nearby.
Please, if you see her:
Do not chase her. Do not try to grab her. Please keep her in sight, take a photo/video if possible, note the exact location, and phone immediately.
She responds to Kei.
Please also check sheds, garages, barns, porches, trees, roofs, gutters, hedges, and sheltered garden areas.
