This unique evening masterclass focuses on how top horsemen, Freddy Steele and Jason Webb build confident and willing equine partners by prioritising correct foundations, welfare and long-term athletic development. They will be joined at Moreton Morrell by equine influencer, presenter and grassroots eventer, Meg Elphick, and 5* eventer, David Britnell.
UK-based Australian, Jason Webb, has started over 3,000 horses in his 25 year career, counting Olympians, world renowned studs and recreational riders enjoying all disciplines among his clients. Also known for his expertise in re-educating horses with severe behavioural issues, his outlook aligns with one of the most exciting young UK horsemen in Freddy Steele.
Freddy has performed breathtaking displays at highly prestigious events, as well as training and competing horses from his base in East Anglia. Both trainers believe in the importance of balancing the horse's mind and body through a deep understanding of horse behaviour.
The demonstrations will cover:
Starting young horses under saddle
Progressing to first competitions
Preventing, or solving, common ground and ridden issues in young horses and seasoned campaigners
