This handsome boy is Truffle who paid a little visit to our Mirfield Branch recently 🤩

5 months old Truffle was here for a neutering procedure and as you can tell our nursing team just fell in love with him!

Lead Veterinary Nurse Chelsea said he was a star ⭐ patient and certainly enjoyed lots of fuss from the team on the day 🥰

We will see Truffle for a recheck soon to ensure he is recovering and healing nicely, and of course more squishy cuddles 😍

This is Izach🤩

Izach is a Bearded Collie who came to our Dewsbury Hospital recently as he had developed a rash on his abdomen and groin 😩

He was becoming rather irited by this rash and was also trying to lick the area. We really didn't want Izach to make this any worse so we after a check over he was sent him with some antimicrobial body wash and an Elizabethan collar (cone) to keep on (Sorry Izach 🙈).

We suggested Izach comes back in 5-7 days for a recheck but we really hope this does the trick!

Say hello to little Charlie 😍

Charlie is 6 years young and stole the hearts of our client care administrators when he came to our Dewsbury Hospital for his second vaccination.

He is such a sweet boy and was very brave in his appointment 💉🩺

This is Alfie, who visited our Dewsbury Hospital after suffering with loose stools for a couple of weeks. Although Alfie's Paw-rent reported that this had now subsided, they also noticed some weight loss 😩. Our Veterinary Surgeon has a good check over Alfie and suggested he came back in 4 weeks for another weight check ⚖️

If Alfie's weight has decreased further it would be best to have some blood tests to rule out a number or possible causes 💉🩺

As much as we loved seeing Alfie, we really hope he doesn't require any further treatment.

Say hello to little Thor!

Thor came to visit us at the Wakefield branch, during our Cat Friendly Evening, for the second part of his initial vaccination course.

We hold Cat Friendly Evenings every Monday, at Wakefield, from 5pm!🕔

Its a perfect time to come with your feline friend if they easily get worried at the vets, as we hold cat only appointments, have lots of calming music, and plenty of happy soothing pheromones in reception whilst you wait!😻

Thor did so well during his vaccine. Little Thor will not be staying this little for very long as he is a Maine C**n, and these cats can grow up to 10kg!🏋️‍♂️

We are so excited to see him grow!😍

Look at these little besties 🥰

Lottie the 7 year old cocker spaniel visited out Brighouse Branch recently for her annual vaccination. Whilst here she also had a good check over to ensure all is well and there are no concerns from her Paw-rents.

Veterinary Surgeon Ferne reported Lottie's eyes 👀 and ears 👂 were all fine, her heart rate is normal and abdomen was comfortable.

Lottie also brought along her little friend for morale support, and they were just the sweetest 😍

Young Male Entire, who was brought into the Sandal Surgery last week and has been treated in our Dewsbury Hospital with a dislocated hip which has been fully treated now by our clinical team.

This handsome fellow is Roman 💙

Roman is a 7 year old Portuguese Water Dog who visited our Brighouse practice recently for a mass removal. Unfortunately poor Roman had a fatty lump on his right hind leg that seemed to be getting more and more enlarged 🐕🩺

Our Veterinary Surgeons and Romans Paw-rent discussed all the options at length and decided the best thing to do would be to remove the fatty mass to ensure it did not effect his leg in the future.

We have seen Roman a further 4 times post operation to keep an eye on his recovery and healing but we are thrilled to report he has now been signed off and can continue enjoying running around with all his doggy friends ⭐

He also brought a friend with him for moral support at his last visit (although they were both really there just for the treats 😋)

This is the lovely 9 year old Max 🐶

Max visits our Waterloo Practice almost every single month to hop on the scales for a weight check! A few years ago Max was a little over weight so with some intervention he was put on a diet to help in get back into shape (We all know that feeling 😋).

Ever since then Max's Paw-rent has brought him to see us (free of charge) to make use of the scales ⚖️ and ensure this is added to his clinical history each time.

He does like to get comfy and make himself at home when here and we love to have a little fuss over him when he comes to say Hi 🥰

This is Ronnie!!!❤️Ronnie is a lovely 8 month old Rottweiler who has been visiting our Wakefield practice for regular weight checks with the nurses, for his monthly parasite prevention🕷️

When we first saw Ronnie 6 months ago for his initial vaccination course he was just 7kg. He is now a whopping 36kg!

He has been described as the gentlest of gentlemen, and loves visiting the practice so much he pulls his owners into the consult room😄😍

We are so excited for him to come in again for his next check up!

This lovely boy is 11 year old Dodge 🐶

Dodge has been visiting our Pen*stone Practice recently for some test as his Paw-rents were concerned about him. His blood results have confirmed that he is Diabetic 😥 but with our help and some very clever medication we can get him feeling much better.

Dodge's parents have both visited us for demonstrations on how to inject Insulin correctly and safely💉. We know Dodge's Paw-rents were a little apprehensive about doing this at home but with our support they now feel confident enough to do this themselves 🥰

As much as we love a visit from little Dodge, we know this is a better option to avoid daily vet trips.

We are confident Dodge will be feeling much brighter in no time ⭐

Say Hello to the scrumptious 9 week old Oscar 😍

Oscar came along to our Dewsbury Hospital recently for his first puppy vaccination 💉 a general check over, a weight check (coming in at a teeny tiny 1.83KG)⚖️ a Microchip placing and some Parasite prevention treatment🐛

Oscar was an absolute trooper and with lots of fusses and maybe just a few treats 🙈 it was all over and done with in no time!

We cant wait to see how much Oscar has grown when he returns in 4 weeks time for his second Vaccination...
