Would you believe Bess had a Total Hip Replacement just over 3 weeks ago at Vita Referrals ??
She is doing so amazingly well ❤️

Here she is today welcoming one of our practitioners at her home visit.

A combination or Pre- Habilitation , expert surgery and skilled rehabilitation, means that Bess has bounced back amazingly quickly ❤️

This is the devastatingly handsome Basil , who has been coming to North Paws for rehabilitation post spinal injury.
He is doing brilliantly well with his rehab , as well as all the changes to his management at home that we have put in place as well .
In his younger days , Basil was a model for non other than Barbour !
Very posh Basil ! ❤️❤️

Great advice from The Roaming Vet .
We are huge advocates of frozen treats in this weather 🥵
And for dogs who are unable to exercise much due to skeletal pain or recovering from surgery , a frozen treat will keep them busy in the garden and occupy their mind 🥰

Murphy came in today for a little check up and a spinal laser .
He’s doing fantastically and was as cute as ever ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾

❤️❤️ Today we are celebrating Nala❤️❤️

Nala had spinal surgery around 18 months ago . She had two spinal discs affected and was classed as a grade 5, carrying an uncertain prognosis.

Nalas wonderful owners have been very dedicated to her ongoing management , making regular weekly or twice weekly trips to North Paws for Laser , physiotherapy, underwater treadmill and Acupuncture.

Today Nala achieved some fantastic new improvements in her treadmill session , and we are still seeing regular, positive neurological change’s . When she took some unassisted steps today , we couldn’t have been happier 🥰

Nala is a fantastic example of what can be achieved with a spinal patient . And if that patient can be well managed at home and kept happy and comfortable, they can still live their best life 🥰🥰🥰

We were so pleased to see Dobby yesterday for his first swim ❤️
Puppy’s do need to be introduced carefully to water , to ensure they don’t get out of their depth when venturing into a river or lake !

We were able to build on Dobbys technique and he soon became a strong, safe swimmer 🐾🐾
