My gorgeous Bear was 9 when he passed making him over 71 years old in human years & still running 20+ miles with me like it was nothing ♥️🐾

Lots of practice with our emergency “down” on this morning’s walk around distractions. To the right there’s 2 black labs stood at their gate, to the left there’s a cat in the drive (Reggie’s fave!) & then the car.

Absolutely nailing his training ♥️

Disclaimer before keyboard warriors attack, this is my own dog, not a clients 🙄. For those that don’t know Reg is a failed NYP dog. He still has the drive, work ethic & enthusiasm of a police dog but he’s just a little too sensitive without the reassurance of Mum 🐾

Reggie doing his thing at northallertonparkrun this morning. Very nearly killed me off & pulled my shoulders out with a 6min mile to start. Having a canicross dog that’s trained to “pull” but not allowed to wear a professional canicross belt at parkrun UK is just crazy 😵‍💫
