Last up today was the very handsome George the Lab 🐾
We focused on helping him manage himself around other dogs – especially practicing recall when he spots one. As a young teenager, he’d love to say hello to everyone, but not every dog wants that (and neither do his owners!).

I brought Sid out into the other field and we started at a distance, building up his ability to notice and recall away from Sid. George worked so hard and made fantastic progress – well done, young man! 💪✨

Next up was this handsome chap, Gunner the Lab 🐾
This was his very first session and he came along for some fun Gundog training as an outlet – and what a start he made! 👏

We began by helping him settle before working, then introduced the placeboard which he absolutely smashed. From there we built on his already solid sit-stays by adding movement, before moving onto heelwork. We wrapped up with some recall, introducing him to the whistle – and he took it all in his stride. 💪

🌟 Last up today was the cheeky little chap Lumi, the working Cocker! 🐾✨

Our focus this session was all about giving him freedom in a way that isn’t “self-employed.” The goal? So Lumi and his mum can enjoy relaxed days in new environments without everything being formal training.

We worked on:
🌳 Staying connected while mooching together
🎾 Mixing play, training, and free time
🐦 Practicing recall and disengaging from birds
💡 Using the environment itself as a reward – showing Lumi that he can have the fun and stay part of the team

It was such a lovely, bumbling little session, and Lumi gave it his all. Well done, little man! 💪🐶

🐾 Next up was the fabulous Lily – the gorgeous Labrador and queen of smiles! 😊💛

Lily popped in for a check-in session, and it was such a joy to see her again. We kept things fun and productive, focusing on:
🎾 Memory retrieves
🎾 Hunting out tennis balls (so much more rewarding than simply throwing a ball on a walk!)
🎾 Lovely off-lead heel work – calmly walking away before being sent back to hunt them out

She absolutely loved the challenge of using her nose and brain, and it was wonderful to see her confidence shining through. Well done, Lily – you smashed it! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Ava’s mum and dad on tying the knot! 💍🐾
Not only did Ava take centre stage on the big day (as every good girl should 😉), but she also featured on the tables with different themes showing off her personality and her humans’ passions — absolutely brilliant!

Because let’s be honest… dogs aren’t just family, they’re often the most important family member! 🐶❤️

First up today was Isla the Labrador 🐾
We introduced her to a new grid designed to really test her holding areas. Using snipe dummies inside the grid while adding the distraction of others outside, she worked her socks off 💪. We finished with some memory retrieves to round things off nicely — such a clever girl! ✨

Last up today was the handsome gentle soul, Ernie the Labrador 💛🐾
He had another fantastic session – first learning to turn on the board at heel, before moving on to tidy up his retrieve pattern. We even progressed his stop cue today, and he took it all in his stride 👏 Such a clever boy, well done Mr Ernie! 🌟

Next up was the gorgeous lady long legs – Leggins Meggins the Lurcher 😍
She had a cracking session today, building on her memory retrieves and progressing to a stay out of sight. We also worked on her off-lead heel work – all really important skills for the Lurcher Working Tests (yes, they exist! 🙌).

What I love most is finding the details that really suit Megs’ breed and tapping into her strengths. She absolutely smashed it today 💛🐾
