Don't be that person. We all see them. We didnt even know they own a dog until its too hot to walk them.

Dogs sweltering to heat exhaustion.

My dogs have been walked at 5am. Now tucked up in the cool shaded kennels until later this evening.

Keep them hydrated and out of the sun.

☀️ Keeping Your Pup Cool This Heatwave! 🐾
It’s getting seriously hot out there, and it’s not just us humans who are feeling the heat—our furry friends struggle too! 🐶🥵

If you want to keep your dog happy, healthy, and hydrated during this heatwave, listen up! I’ve got 3 awesome tips for you:

💧 Hydration is Key: Make sure your pup has constant access to fresh, cold water. Pro-tip: toss a few ice cubes in there to keep it extra refreshing!

⏰ Limit Outdoor Exercise: Avoid the hottest parts of the day. Stick to early morning or late evening walks when the ground and air are much cooler. If they're hanging out in the garden, make sure they stay in the shade!

🍦 Get Creative with Frozen Treats: Mix their favorite treats with some pet-friendly yogurt or water, pop them in the freezer for a few hours, and boom—you've got a delicious, pup-friendly ice cream!

💡 Bonus Tip: Take a few minutes to read up on the signs and symptoms of heatstroke in dogs. Being able to spot it early can save a life!

Stay safe out there, keep those tails wagging, and look after your pups! 🐾❤️

Great chance for low-key socialization! Practice gentle handling like touching paws and ears with positive reinforcement. Introduce new safe objects or puzzle toys to engage their minds.

A predictable schedule creates a safe rhythm for children, letting them know what to expect. This drop in anxiety is key to solving many behavior issues.

Give your dog the gift of a sniffy walk in a safe, fenced area. This mental exploration is just as important as physical exercise for a happy, tired pup.

Consistency is key for your puppy's schedule. Around 3:00-3:30 PM, after their nap, the first thing they need is a trip outside to potty. This builds good habits.

15/04/2026

Around 8:30-9:00 AM, after potty, food, play, and training, your puppy has been up for 1.5 hours. Watch for wandering, loss of interest in toys, or nipping. These aren't signs of being 'bad,' but of fatigue.

Dealing with a puppy's second wind of chewing and zoomies? The key to a peaceful evening is a late afternoon nap! Learn how long your puppy can hold it for bladder control and why nighttime is strictly for sleeping.
