This beautiful girl was on her berry 🍓 best behaviour whilst in for her 2nd vaccination and microchip.
Her human treated her to her favourite toy for being so brave!

This little man came back to see us today after breaking his leg 4 weeks ago 🥺
Safe to say, he was well looked after by all the team and was soooo happy to be reunited with his bestie!!

WEAR EMERGENCIES are our new Out-Of-Hours (OOH) service providers.

Over time, we have developed a strong and trusted relationship with the team at Wear Emergencies and we are confident that their commitment to high-quality care and excellent customer service aligns perfectly with our own values. Their experienced staff share our dedication to supporting both pets and their owners, ensuring that every emergency is handled with compassion, professionalism and expertise. They have specialist vets working through the night, enhancing the quality of out-of-hours care and they will continue treatment and support until Saltburn Vets are available to take over - even after 8:30am if needed.

🩵Maggie-Mae joined us earlier this week for her dental procedure!

She did really well and as you can see she had quite significant plaque build up. Unfortunately Maggie-Mae did have a few extractions, but her remaining healthy teeth are now cleaned up and we hope she is feeling much better now! 🩵

Jef belongs to our RVN Faye! This week he had the pleasure of joining the team for a dental procedure.😻🦷

🩸He firstly had his bloods checked to ensure that his organ function was okay before he went under anaesthesia for his full mouth assessment. Jef is a special boy as he has a displaced canine tooth (which means his tooth sticks out of his mouth). Faye tells us this is one of her favourite parts about him.

💧Once under his anaesthetic, we connected him to his fluid therapy to help support him.

☢️We then took Dental X-Rays to assess the roots of his teeth, which helped Cate the Vet to diagnose that he only required a scale and polish! The nursing team were able to take care of this and Jef and he was awake in no time, back to his usual lovely self.

🩵We have recently upgraded our dental procedures to include Dental X-Rays, they really help to better visualise any issues with teeth below the surface that may not be picked up on!🩵
