Hi everyone 👋

We hope everyone is having a great week so far 🐱🐶🐭

We thought we'd make a post about our lovely reception team, Julie and Lisa 🥰 These guys work diligently behind the scenes making sure our days run smoothly, answering the phones, messages and emails and generally doing all the organising! 🤩

They are invaluable members of our small team and we'd be totally lost without them both! 🤗 It's such a shame you all don't get to meet them face to face but trust us when we say they are as lovely in person as they are on the phone ❤️

Thank you both for keeping us all in check and making sure our days run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis 👌👏🥳

🐶 We are so lucky to be able to see and take care of all sorts of shapes and sizes, the variety of dog breeds we see is amazing and we love getting to know them all! 🦮🐕‍🦺🐩🐕

Here is a gorgeous selection of some of the larger breed dogs we've seen recently 🤗

First up is Kane the gentle giant Dogue De Bordeux Rottweiler cross 😍 Kane had a sore paw and was so good for us standing still while we treated and bandaged his foot ❤️‍🩹

Next is Bonnie the beautiful Old Tyme Bulldog who had her spay operation in our vet van 🥰 She was the perfect patient throughout and has been healing very well, good job Bonnie 👏

And finally we have Vince the stunning Weimaraner and Toffee the cheeky Boxer 🤩 We visited them both for their castrations which were performed just outside their homes 🏡 They were both so brave and have since made full recoveries 🥳

We've all been working really hard lately and have been looking forward to our Easter break☺️

Hi everyone! 👋🐕‍🦺🐈

We perform a lot of dentistry in our vet vans, offering dental treatments to dogs 🐕 cats 🐈 and rabbits 🐇! All dentals are carried out just outside your home, monitored closely by one of our lovely RVNs and they have the added luxury (we deem a necessity!) of recovering in their own homes 🏡 🥰

First up is the lovely Pixie 😍 This gorgeous girl had very advanced dental disease as you can see from the calculus build up and pus surrounding her teeth. Bless her, she had many extractions due to the disease but having those rotten teeth removed obviously made a big difference to her comfort and health, and she's doing absolutely amazing now 💕👏

Next is the stunning girl Rosa 🤩 the ex racing greyhound. Her teeth had moderate calculus build up as you can see, only needing a good scale to clean these up! This is her before and after photo to show the difference a good clean can make 👌🐶

Both these beauties benefited massively from tending to their teeth, if you think your pet could benefit also please do not hesitate to contact us and we'll be very happy to help 😀

There's no rest for the wicked! 🤣🚐🚑

Daphne and Velma our two vet vans have been getting a lot of TLC recently ❤️‍🩹 Mostly on weekends and evenings, given they are attending house calls during the day! 🚐🏡 Both these vans work wonderfully at allowing both consultations and surgery to take place just outside your home 🏡 🐕🐈🐇

However! Keeping them on the road and able to attend visits is a whole different world and full time job in itself! 🛠🚑 Thankfully we have an amazing team working behind the scenes making it possible for the clinical team to keep moving... literally 🤣👌

The devotion isn't everyone's idea of fun but we embrace it because we know how important this service is for people and we love what we do, getting out and about seeing you all in a less stressful environment 🥰🤩

Happy Friday everyone! 🥳

Did you know we perform surgical procedures in our fully equipped vet vans? 🚑 We carry this out just outside your home, safely and efficiently 🏡🩺 There are many benefits for your pet having this done outside their home, the major one being their stress levels are so much lower 🥰...no long stays at the vets...no recovery in strange places... quick surgical procedures carried out only by one of our two very experienced Vets 💉💊 We find recovery in the home is so much faster and kinder for them 🥰

All 4 of our gorgeous girls below had their spay procedures in our vans! 🤩 Sisters: Bluebell and Bunny the happy Frenchies (can you guess the introvert vs the extrovert 😆).
And beautiful sisters Bonny labrador and Ruby cocker spaniel 😍
They all did absolutely amazing on the day being star patients 👏 🌟

🐕 Did you know that we also offer a 10% discount when you have more then one operation done in the same home on the same day 👌

⭐️ Experienced RVN/VCA opportunity! ⭐️

We are looking for a part time team member to join our wonderful work family 🤩

BRMV is a recently established, independent, mobile small animal practice with an amazing team who works closely together ❤️

Our main focus is the best patient and client care we can give, making our visits as stress free and helpful as possible, alongside affordable pricing ☺️

If you would like to get out and about spanning Middlesbrough to Whitby and everything in between, taking the time each patient/client takes without rushing, offering a more personal service with great continuity of care then this is what we can offer 🥰

Ideally we are looking for someone 2 days a week (9-10hr days average), who has lots of experience, is a well rounded easy going team player who is comfortable with the thought of driving a 4.5 tonne van around the countryside, navigating whatever comes their way! You will always be working alongside one of our 2 lovely vets attending consults and monitoring anaesthetised patients 😀

Employed or self employed considered and very competitive wages on offer for the right person who we know is out there! 🤩

🌞 Thanks everyone for your continued support and for trusting us with your beautiful pets 🥰🐕🐈🐇 We are so happy to support the local community and hopefully make that dreaded vet visit so much less stressful ❤️‍🩹☺️

We see a lot of golden oldies either in the home or in our fully equipped vet van just outside the home - Winston here being 12.5 years old, he's doing absolutely amazing for his age 👏 🤩 Despite Winston not having the best start in life being a rescue he does great with us, we take our time with him and go at his pace, making everything as stress free as possible for everyone 🥰

Next we have the gorgeous sisters Penny and Frankie 😍 The cutest dachsies both needing to be spayed 🩺💊 We can perform basic surgeries in our vet vans safely and efficiently, and with no long stays at the vets we find their stress levels are markedly lowered ☺️ Both girls did brilliant during and after their surgeries and have made a full recovery 👏🤩

Finally, here is the handsome Herbie the cockapoo 🐕🥰 Herbie came to us for his castration and what a gentleman he was! Took Everything on his stride and made our day being such a dude! 🐶 well done lad you did fab 👌🩺

Hi everyone 👋😀

We hope you have all been OK on this awful day and stayed warm and dry!! 🌪🌧

We have a lovely collection for you of some of puppies and kittens we've seen recently 😻😍 Our job isn't just cuddling puppies and kittens all day (although it may seem like it on the outside! 🤣) but sometimes we do and we are so grateful for it when we can ❤️

First up we have Dasha the inquisitive sharpei cross who needed her second vaccine 🐕🥰
Rex the beautiful basset hound puppy who also needed his second vaccine - we don't see these guys very often 🥰 He was very shy to look at the camera 🤗
Then we have the stunning ragdoll kitten called Bambi needing her health check and vaccine 🐈🐈‍⬛🐱
And finally Max the gorgeous cavapoo puppy who needed a blood sample for eating some raisins - look at those eyes! 🥰 He was such a brave boy and thankfully is all fine after his events!! 👏

⭐️ We hope everyone has a lovely weekend lined up with their pets! 🥰🐈🐕‍🦺 Thank you for all your support in 2026 so far, we've been off to a flying start, and have really enjoyed coming to see you all 🤩🩺

Today we have a feline appreciation post 🐈‍⬛🐈😻 We love treating and helping cats, and we find they really appreciate seeing us too with no lengthy visits to the vets in carriers or horrid car journeys 🚗 One of our main goals is keeping everything a stress free as possible for everyone 🥰

We've seen some gorgeous guys recently! First up is the stunning British shorthair X Persian Smoggy who we saw recently for a poorly foot 😻 Next we have 2 young lads needing their castrations - Bibble (looking a little woozy after his sedation 🤗) and Leo the Ragdoll X Sphynx! What a combo 👏

Next there's the lovely regal Misty who's 15 years old, needing a check over and bloods tests 🐱 And finally the beautiful ladies Margot and Josie 😍 who also needed blood tests following possible raisin ingestion! We are relieved to say they are both doing just fine 🤩

Hi everyone 👋 We hope you are all doing well 😊

⭐️Today our post is about the importance of pet insurance 🐶🐱🐰

Recently two of our own beloveds had to be referred for surgeries beyond what a normal first opinion practitioner vet, like ourselves, can deal with 🩻🩺💉

Dakota 😍 our VCA Nikki's gorgeous cocker spaniel had been limping for a while despite rest and pain relief 💔 He was referred for a CT scan which revealed elbow dysplasia and since has had technical surgery to fix the problem 🐕
Poor lad, here he is before and a few days after his surgery 🥰

Chip 😍 our RVN Julie's cute JRT developed very quickly juvenile cataracts in both eyes 👀 😔 He was rushed to a Veterinary Ophthomologist for assessment and urgent surgery to have them removed so he could regain back his eyesight! Poor little lad is only 2 years old, so it was completely unexpected 😲!

Both boys are recovering well at home 🏡 👏 well done lads, keep up the good healing ❤️‍🩹
Without pet insurance neither of these guys could have had the referral surgeries necessary to help them through. It made us all reflect on how important insurance has been for our pets and many pets we've come across in the past 🐰🐱🐶
