📢 Amanda on Annual Leave 📢

Just a quick note to let our lovely families know that Amanda will be on annual leave from Monday to Wednesday next week, returning to work on Thursday.

During this time, Vicki will be managing the phone 📞 and will answer whenever possible. However, to ensure we don’t miss anything, we kindly ask that you text, email, or use our online booking system where possible for any enquiries or messages. 💻📱✉️

Important Booking Update – Summer & May Half Term

We’d like to kindly remind all our lovely pet parents that during peak times—especially the upcoming May half term and summer holidays—our dog kennels are now fully booked with limited spaces for cats.

We understand how important it is to have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is well cared for while you're away, and we’re truly grateful for the continued trust you place in us.

If you were hoping to book for these peak periods, we’re so sorry we can’t accommodate any more dogs at this time. However, we’re happy to pop you on a cancellation list if you’d like.

For future holidays, we kindly recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as these busy times tend to fill up fast.

Today we have a received a wonderful email from one of our customers. Looking after people’s precious pets we would not hesitate to seek medical treatment if necessary and in this case the teams quick actions saved life’s 😞

We have Val, Andrew and the staff team at Grove to thank for saving our precious boy's life during his holiday with them in March 2025.

During our holiday in Turkey, we had the call that everyone dreads when they leave their pet to go away. Purdey our nearly 8 year old German Shorthair Pointer had collapsed and was frothing at the mouth. Due to the exceptionally fast recognition and response to the situation by Jade and staff at the kennels, Purdey was taken immediately to the emergency vets where he underwent life saving surgery to repair a twisted bowel.

Thanks to the training and care the staff here have and show, they realised Purdey was seriously ill and if they had not found him when they did and acted so quickly, he would have died.

Post operatively, Val went above and beyond to ensure he had the best food to entice him to eat, kept him comfortable and gave his meds and sent us regular photos and updates on his condition.

Exceptional service from a very committed and professional facility.

Purdey has been a regular visitor for years to Grove and they have got to know him well.They have always looked after him brilliantly and it’s like he has never been away when he comes home.

Words are not enough to convey our heartfelt gratitude for the incredible way they all handled the situation.

Purdey is recovering well at home now after a few setbacks.

We would not hesitate to recommend Val, Andrew, Jade and everyone at Grove Nurseries.They are truly our heroes.

Dear Valued Pet Parents,

We truly appreciate the trust you place in us to care for your furry family members. To continue providing the high-quality care, personalised attention, and comfortable environment your pets deserve, we must adjust our boarding rates due to rising operational costs.

What’s Changing?

Starting 1st March 2025 on bookings made from today, our new nightly rates will be based on the size of your dog:

Small Dogs: £16 per night
Medium Dogs: £17:50 per night
Large Dogs: £19 per night

Sharing pens will be
2 x small dogs £26
2 x other dogs sharing will be £32 per night weather they are a mix of small, medium or large.

If it’s more than two we will provide an individual quote for now until system up to date.

Important Note:
All current bookings that have already been made will not be affected by these new rates. We want to ensure that your plans remain as scheduled, and you continue to receive the same great value from your existing reservations.

Why the Change?
Like many businesses, we’re experiencing increased costs for supplies, utilities, and maintaining our quality care standards. This adjustment helps ensure that every guest—no matter the size—continues to receive safe, loving, and professional care during their stay with us.

We understand that any change can raise questions, and we’re here to help! Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns regarding these new rates. Your continued support means the world to us, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.

Good Afternoon

Hope everyone is well. We are after a favour and you cooperation.

Please can we ask all costumers of all pets can share their vaccination certificates. You can do this in a number of ways. We are updating all information.

1. upload onto your pets online Revelation pets profile by uploading a photo of their vaccination card to the "files" section shown in the photo attached and then ticking the relevant vaccination on the vaccination section of their profile.
2. Bring it in on your next visit for us to photo copy
3. Email it to admin on [email protected]
