I have often wondered over the years… 🤔🐾🤔🐾….

“Where am I going wrong”?

“What am I not doing fast enough in the grooming room”?

“How is it possible to groom a dog from start to finish in 60 minutes”?

“I mean, I know I don’t hire a bather and all my work here is my own but still, what is the secret to doing 8-10 dogs in a day”?

The only conclusion I can come up with is that each and every dog that steps into my grooming room is treated as an individual regardless of its breed.

Some are young, care free and wild! - Wouldn’t we all want to be?! 🤭🐾.

Some are a little apprehensive and hey, that’s okay too! - So do people get nervous, right? 🐾

Some are seniors, and they really do open the key to my heart. ❤️‍🩹🐾 - Some of these I groom in two separate sessions because in my book, it is not fair to make the equivalent of an 80/90 year old person stand for too long… 🐾

So the answer is MAYBE, just maybe, I AM NOT doing anything wrong 🐾…
I may not be able to keep up with some, but I am doing ME, and that in my book has to be okay.

In my grooming room I text or call when your dog is ready.
Of course an approximate time is always given but each dog is an individual regardless of breed.

Every groomer is different and that is okay too! 🐾.
We are all doing our thing and all doing our very best to make things work OUR OWN way.
None of us would work with animals if we didn’t love them the way that we do 🐾❤️🐶🐾.
