We are heartbroken to share the loss of one of our much-loved personal horses, Caprice 111, known to most people as Aria.
Aria lived a truly remarkable life. She began her journey as a highly successful showjumper, before going on to be owned by one of the Real Housewives of Cheshire. She was later bought by the wonderful Sarah and Freya who chose to keep her with us here on livery, where she quickly became a firm favourite!
A few years later, Emma was incredibly lucky to be gifted Aria by Sarah, and for the past 4 years Aria has been under her loving care. They both instantly clicked with each other and during that time their bond grew into something very special.
Aria was a small horse but full of character and a whole lot of attitude. She never hesitated to let you know exactly what she was thinking or if she wasn’t happy with something that you did, and we often joked that Aria was Emma in horse form — never taking any nonsense from anyone but once you had her on side she was loyal to a fault.
She touched the lives of so many throughout her years and will be deeply missed around the yard, but her spirit, sass, and presence will never be forgotten and we’re so thankful we managed to be apart of her incredible journey throughout her 28years.
Thank you to everyone who’s messaged and is bearing with us during this difficult time, despite Aria’s age this has still come as a shock to us both as up until yesterday afternoon she was fit and well.
