Another fencing project completed ✅ This fence ran alongside a public footpath and was installed to safely contain horses/ livestock within the field while maintaining a strong, tidy boundary..

We installed stock netting with two strands of plain wire along the top, creating a secure and durable fence line. Access was provided with two metal gates, fitted at the top and bottom of the run for access for both vehicles & pedestrians

Another job completed over the bank holiday weekend ✅

We transformed this large area of soil for an equestrian yard, into a solid hard standing perfect for storing bales and other equipment in order to use in winter time when it’s wet and boggy, We dug out and removed all the old soil, installed a strong stone base, and finished it off with road planings for a durable surface 👍🏻

Here is just a snippet of what we’ve been upto this week, working with our equine customers and keeping horse paddocks in great condition 🐎🌱

We’ve been carrying out a range of paddock maintenance services, including harrowing, rolling, fertiliser spreading and grass seeding, topping and a few more projects to be posted..

Harrowing has been a key part of the work helping remove unwanted moss, bring up dead grass, improve soil conditions, and encourage stronger grass root growth which leads to healthier, more productive grazing for horses this time of year

We’ve also been out with our new 4x4 quad and rear mounted spreader, applying fertiliser and grass seed efficiently across paddocks, helping to thicken up the grass and keep fields looking their best, we’ve been topping fields to manage overgrown weeds and tidy everything up as well 👍🏻

Another great project completed! 🌱🐾

We recently transformed 2 overgrown fields into lovely level activity paddocks. The job involved clearing out dense brash, weeds, and self set trees (can be seen on our previous posts) before moving on to rotavating and cultivating the ground to create the perfect ground for seeding

With fresh grass now sown into the soil, we’re looking forward to watching it establish over the coming weeks. Once it’s ready, we’ll be back on site to install secure fencing and complete the transformation into a safe, purpose-built dog exercise field

It’s always rewarding to take a space from completely overgrown and useless to something functional and full of potential!

Here is a lovely 15x14ft field shelter we have built for a customer with horses 🐎, a lot of field shelters nowadays are flimsy and made with cheap materials that just don’t have a long lasting life! However this customer wanted something that they could trust not to blow away/over on a windy day, So we used heavy duty timbers for the frame, thick wooden boarding with an inch gap in between for the walls, and then same again cut shorter across the bottom of the inside to act as a kick board, then finishing with an olive green tin sheeted roof.

Here is another challenging tree removal completed over the weekend in Hucknall🌳, this tree was extremely big and was blocking sunlight to both the customer and neighbour, it was also starting to cause damage to the garden fence & patio due to the size of the roots!
To get this down safely we removed each branch from top to bottom, to avoid any damage to fences, sheds or anything in the area.
