With more than 17 years combined experience working and volunteering in the animal care sector, we have a wealth of experience caring for animals of all species, breeds, temperaments and backgrounds, including animals with behavioural and medical needs.
With a BTEC L3 National Diploma in Animal Management, Luke has worked with a wide variety of animals, from farm animals and llamas, cats, dogs and small furries to exotics such as reptiles, meerkats, and tarantulas. Luke has worked for a national animal welfare charity for the last 6 years where he cared for animals from a variety of backgrounds including those who had been neglected and ill-treated. Luke has volunteered with multiple animal charities, both nationally known and local, caring for various species of animals but most recently caring for dogs. For Luke, large breed dogs aren’t an issue as he has plenty of handling experience.
Roz is a Regional Welfare Advisor for a national animal charity, and has more than a decade of animal care experience. As the former deputy manager of an animal adoption centre, she has many years’ experience working with cats, from everyday handling and husbandry to dealing with isolation cases, rehabilitation and meeting the physical, medical and behavioural needs of cats from a variety of backgrounds.
