Coco might be a bit rubbish with the ladies but he’s a good dad to the ones he does like, just one chick in this batch but she’s a first time mum. I’m calling it now it’s a little Rooster thou!!

Goldies chicks are due in a few days.

You try telling the mums that’s baby food 🤦‍♂️

We are calling these the “Booties” as the Biological mother is a booted bantam and she’s seems to lay really reliable hatchers! Well over 2/3s of the chicks are hers and she’s done Zero Parenting 😂

All Iddy Biddys Bantams are crossed with the Indian Serama (the worlds smallest chicken) to make them a nice size for domestic gardens and runs!

Doesn’t matter how many eggs I hatch seeing the embryo moving and developing is always sort of weird!!

Fun fact this egg started developing 7 days ago and already has fully sized adult eyes!!
