Just one space remaining for our secure field play date on Saturday ! Who wants to join the fun 🐶 Maybe your dog fancies a go at the agility course like Frankie did when we checked out the park at the weekend 😍

Pick ups will start around 8.45am and drop offs will be from around 11.30am as for our first play date we’ll be heading to Taunton Dog Park.

💚 There are also 2 spaces left for our adventure walk on Saturday 8th August - this is the one that was postponed from June due to the hot weather. This will be a 2 hour walk due to it still being warmer. We’ll be back to 3 hours for the next one 🥾

Let me know if you want to secure the last spaces 🐾

Just a quick note to say I will be starting slightly earlier again this week, pick ups will start from 8am for the first walk.

We’re excited to introduce our brand new Secure Field Play Date sessions at Exmoor Canine Co.!

These group sessions are limited to just 6 dogs, giving your dog the chance to enjoy safe, supervised off-lead fun in a fully enclosed field.

Whether your dog loves to run, sniff, explore, make new friends has high prey drive or lacks good recall our secure field visits are perfect for your dog(s). Secure fields provide the perfect environment to burn energy, build confidence and enjoy natural enrichment without the distractions or risks of public spaces.

🐶 Benefits:
🌿 Safe, fully enclosed field
🐾 Small groups of up to 6 dogs
💚 Supervised play and socialisation
🐕 Plenty of space to run and exercise
🧠 Mental stimulation through new sights, smells and experiences
😌 Helps reduce stress and promotes calmer behaviour at home

These sessions are ideal for friendly dogs who enjoy the company of others and want the freedom to play in a secure environment.

Spaces are limited to ensure every dog has the best experience, so early booking is recommended!

📆 Play dates will either be late afternoon/early evening or a Saturday morning.

💚 Our first play date will be on Saturday 1st August .
All my regular dogs welcome from all areas as long as friendly when meeting new dogs.

The temperature is planning to be a little lower this week, but we’ll still be starting our walks 30/45 minutes earlier to stay ahead of any unexpected temperature spikes.
Fingers crossed the weather doesn’t rise unexpectedly and I’ll be able to walk dogs that usually go out in the afternoons and haven’t had a walk for a few weeks as I’ll be able to get to them slightly earlier too before it gets hot.

Hot weather is back this week! 🌞

With temperatures set to rise again, I’ll be making a few temporary changes to my walking schedule to keep everyone safe.

🐾 Morning walks may start earlier, I will be in touch the evening before your dogs walk if there are any changes.

☀️ Afternoon walks are cancelled while temperatures remain too high. Home visits available if needed 🏠

Your dog’s welfare will always come first, and I’ll continue to monitor the forecast daily. If any further changes are needed, I’ll let you know as soon as possible.

We may have had a heatwave, but we still managed a few lovely early morning walks—some very early! 😴🌅

A big thank you to all my wonderful besties’ owners for letting me steal your dogs so early in the morning. 🐶💚

☀️ Here are some top tips for you to help keep you dog stimulated and cool during this weeks heatwave 🐾

When the temperature rises, it’s important to keep your dog both mentally stimulated and physically cool. Dogs can quickly become bored when walks are shortened or cancelled due to the heat, so finding safe ways to engage them is key.

🚨 Watch for signs of overheating
Heavy panting • Excessive drooling • Lethargy • Vomiting

If you’re ever concerned, move your dog somewhere cool, offer water, and contact your vet for advice.

My four-legged besties enjoyed every moment exploring, sniffing and playing.
