Chilli is the eldest at 11 months

Swift is the second eldest at 10 months

I am soooo thrilled to welcome Fleur & Ferdy to The Paw Smith gang! I had my first walk with them today and it honestly couldn’t have gone better 🌳🦮🐾

We had heaps of fun, lots of treats, ball throwing and plenty of opportunities for a splash for Ferdy (who is water mad! 💦). Such gorgeous pups and I can’t wait for more adventures with them 💛

What a week! The weather has definitely thrown me sooo far out of my usual routine, but I’m so grateful to our amazing clients who’ve welcomed us to your homes from as early as 7am so we can still safely walk your dogs 💛 Thank you all for being so understanding and flexible this week!

As much as I love summer, these hot spells are always so hard for dog walkers. Not only is it always a loss of income, it’s also a big task trying to rearrange everything in our diary.

This week consisted of lots of swimming, cuddles, water breaks, and shade hopping. Oh, and some adorable cutie cats too! 🐱

Here’s to hoping next week is a more sensible temp! 🥵 have a gorgeousss weekend! 🩷

A stunning day of work for me yesterday before clocking off for 4 days of sun (in my back garden hehe)☀️

I’m turning 29 on Sunday, which means my twenties are nearly over and I’m feeling sentimental 😩 I was 24 when I set up The Paw Smith and I really don’t know where the time has gone. But I do know this is the best job ever and I’m forever grateful for every single person who has trusted us with their beloved pet(s) 💛 it really does mean the world 🌎

Anyway, I’m off for brunch and to enjoy my long weekend off 🤭 I hope everyone has a gorgeousss bank holiday weekend! 🤩

Warm weather incoming!!! 🥵☀️ (a dog walker’s worst nightmare 😩)

Here’s a reminder of how we operate during the summer months along with the temperature guide that we follow.

We will never knowingly put a dog at risk for the sake of completing a walk. If conditions are unsafe, walks will be moved to a cooler time of day, replaced with a visit, shortened or cancelled entirely.

The walks that do go ahead will be as shady as possible and dogs will have access to water before, during and after their walk 💦🌳🦮 please feel free to contact us if you have any questions! 💛
