🍋 WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS… MAKE LEMONADE AND JUST RUN WITH IT! 😂🐾
Monday morning… I’m on a pet sit, up early, dogs let out, myself ready and off I go to meet Ali at our first pick-up of the day.
📞 Phone rings…
Ali: “Susan, the van won’t start.”
Me: “Right, you ring the garage, I’ll sort the customers.”
NO PANIC. JUST PROBLEM SOLVING! 💪😂
So there I am, ringing customers, rearranging dogs and trying to work out how on earth we’re going to pull off a full Monday without our van!
Then I ring our lovely Laura…
Me: “Laura, any chance you’ve got a jump pack?”
Laura: “No… but I’ve got space for you and some dogs!”
LAURA, YOU ABSOLUTE LEGEND! 🥹❤️
And just like that, PLAN B WAS BORN! 🙌
We made sure the dogs who had nobody at home were collected, spent the day with Laura, got our steps in and somehow managed to turn an absolute Monday morning disaster into a pretty brilliant day! 🐕😂
No meltdown. No giving up. Just a bit of teamwork, some quick thinking and a whole lot of making it work!
Because that’s the thing about running a small business… things WILL go wrong. You can’t control everything, but you can control how you deal with it!
A massive thank you to Laura for quite literally saving our Monday, and to our amazing customers for being so understanding. ❤️
And now?
☕ Kettle ON.
🛋️ Comfies ON.
🎬 Film ON.
Little Paws has officially survived Monday… and it’s only day ONE of the week! 🤣🐾
