💦💦💦 staying cool with Finn this morning!! Thanx dude 🥴🫣🤣
Today’s walks have involved some very short walks and even one visit to play at home as it was just not worth walking two very hairy dogs who pant even when it’s cold around Abingdon in 28 degrees!!
Always make sure they have plenty of fresh cold water too, and keep topping it up throughout the day. Lots of dogs (especially mine 😂) like it nice and fresh!!
Another thing you can do to stimulate them without making them overheat is to fill a kong with wet food and freeze them, this provides a nice long and cold chew for your dog.
It’s always better to be safe not sorry and avoid a walk if it’s hot out there. They can swim in a little paddling pool to cool off and do lots of stimulation at home, they’ll still be happy doggos! Sniffing is enough, they don’t need to go on a daily hike!

Wednesday to Friday walkies 🐾
Last week in a nutshell. Sun shining, wet walks to keep the fur babies safe and hydrated in the heat. Lots of home visits with let outs to keep cool as no risk will ever be taken with any of the dogs in my care. Love them all so much 🥰🥰🥰
It’s good to be back with all these pups 🐶 🥰 I missed them!!
