Three breeds all needing a de-shed to remove undercoat which helps to keep them cool in the summer. Each breed requires a different techniques to remove dead undercoat.
Ralph the Labrador had a de-shedding mud spa treatment, followed by a de-shedding shampoo, a good blast through his coat with the dryer and a brush through.
Aoife the miniature Dachshund had a brush to loosen her coat, followed by a thorough comb with a carding knife.
And last but not least Frank who was the winner with how much was removed with a de-shedding rake.
How beautiful are they and very much cooler without that dead hair trapped in their coats
