🙋‍♀️🐶 Meet Kirsty (and Jed!)
Before trading the classroom for dog leads, Kirsty was a primary school teacher for over 10 years. She launched her dog-walking business nearly two years ago and grew the business to operating full-time in October 2025.

🐕‍🦺 Often joined on walks by her own black Labrador, Jed, Kirsty’s priorities are building dogs’ confidence, developing friendships, and expanding their worlds, one walk at a time.

🌟🌱 Double the Fun… Kirsty now proudly runs two businesses:
• Bunsty Dog Field: A secure dog walking field, available for private hire in Gayhurst (MK16). This is perfect for high-energy runners, dogs working on recall, or those that need a safe, enclosed space away from others to thrive.
• Bunsty Dog Walking: Offering group walks for the social dogs and solo walks for pups who need one-on-one attention.
• Best of Both: Kirsty runs secure field play sessions for client dogs, bringing together sociable dogs for hour long play sessions in a secure space. Not allowed off lead in the wild? Our play sessions are perfect for them!

🛡️🐾 Safety & Peace of Mind First
Your dogs are family, and their safety is our absolute priority. When they’re with us, you get total peace of mind:
🚐 Secure Transport: Pups travel in a dedicated van fitted with a secure crate transport system.
✅ The Credentials: Fully Insured • Canine First Aid Trained • DBS Checked • Registered Member of the Modern Dog Walkers’ Association.

📍Our Roaming Zones
Kirsty proudly look after dogs across Olney, Newport Pagnell, and all the surrounding north Bucks villages - from Castlethorpe and Hanslope through to Stoke Goldington and Emberton (and everywhere in between!).

It’s looking like it’s going to be a scorching bank holiday weekend, so it’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with what temperatures are safe for your dog☀️🐶

Every year our vets treat hundreds of heat stroke cases and, heartbreakingly, some end in tragedy. Many are unfortunately a result of owners not knowing the dangers of exercising their dogs in temperatures to hot for them to handle.

Heat-related illnesses are almost always preventable. DONT TAKE THE RISK and make sure your pet isn’t overheating in the sun.

Temperatures over 24 degrees will be uncomfortable for most of our dogs, so make sure you are walking them at the coolest times of the day or simply keep them at home and give them some mental stimulation and enrichment things to do instead.

If you think your dog may be suffering from heat stroke, contact your vet immediately! If out-of-hours, find your nearest emergency vet.

☀️ BEAT THE HEAT AT BUNSTY DOG FIELD! 🐾

🔥 We know how tough heatwaves can be on our furry friends, but we’re here to help you and your pups stay safe and cool.

⏰ Starting immediately, we are extending our opening hours! We will now be open earlier in the morning (from 5am) and later in the evening (until 9pm) so you can secure a slot during the coolest parts of the day.

⚠️ Standard daytime walking can be dangerous right now, so come down when the sun isn’t at its peak and let your dog stretch their legs safely.

🌡️ Tips for Keeping Your Pup Safe in the Heat:
• Walk Early & Late: Avoid the midday sun entirely. If the pavement is too hot for the back of your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
• Know the Signs of Heatstroke: Heavy panting, excessive drooling, lethargy, and dark red gums are signs of heatstroke. If you see these, cool them down immediately and call a vet.
• Ditch the Intense Cardio: Swap intense fetch sessions for sniffing games or gentle exploring.

💦 Stay Hydrated - we’ve got you covered. Bunsty Dog Field has a fresh water supply on-site to keep your dogs happily hydrated throughout their session.

A Quick Update on our Toy Basket

🎾 We love seeing your pups having the best time at Bunsty! One of our favorite things is watching them dive into the toy basket and sprint across the field after a fresh tennis ball.

⚽️ However, we wanted to share an update regarding our field toy basket. We did a restock just before the Easter weekend, but between some accidental breakages, and a few toys seemingly finding new homes, our basket is once again looking empty!

🧺 We know things naturally wear out and break during play, but the speed at which they’ve disappeared this week means **we’re going to take a short break from replenishing the toy basket for the time being.**

How you can help:
• BYO Toys: For your next visit, please remember to bring along your dog’s favorite balls or pull-toys from home.

• Check the Boot: If you accidentally popped a Bunsty ball or toy into your car after a fun session, please drop it back in the basket next time you’re here!

• Keep an Eye and Keep it Tidy: If you know your dog is a strong chewer, please supervise them closely with our toys and step in before the toy breaks. If a toy does break during a particularly enthusiastic game, please pop the bits in the bin so the field stays safe.

🐕 We are grateful for our amazing community and for those that care for the field. We’ll look at topping up the toy basket in the future, but for now, please remember to bring your own!
