Wilf is a winner 🏆🤍💫🥹

His first show, first dressage test and managed to pull out a first frilly🥇

With the help of some friends we had an ideal set up; getting a lead, doing a warm up test and of course the secret ingredient - polos!

He was on model behaviour, had good consistent scores and some lovely comments from the judge

So proud of him today, what a good boy! 🥕

Super day at with for the have a go ODE🌟

Such a great, encouraging day to bridge the gap between training into competition whilst still having full support on stand by

Some really lovely tests - even saw a few circles that didn’t have pointy corners 🙌

Great to see positive riding with plenty of pats out on the XC 🤩
Oak Tree do such a good job of building flowing, inviting courses and even have the friendliest ditches in all the land with every combination completing 🏆

Always a pleasure working with Alex, she has a real gift for instilling confidence into riders

I’m back at Oak Tree this Saturday 2nd August for Poleastics - poles and gymnastic jumping

A few changes of tactics for Ronnie resulting in a much more sensible outing today

Clear rounds in the dressage and jumping and no nervy b about the warm up (significantly helped by others in the warm up also able to keep it together👏)

This time we had strangers saying how pretty he is, rather than “well sat” 🫣

I’ll take it

Lovely day at for this months Poleastics with jumps clinic

Always great to see the progression of combinations over a few sessions

We work away with the pole exercises establishing what is the riders job and allowing the horse to do theirs all whilst staying at a thinking speed until it all feels more deliberate and understood

From there, progressing to the jumps becomes the easiest next step. No need to guess or chase the fence, just confident, positive riding🪄

(Of course totally fine to stay with poles on the floor for those who prefer to stay grounded!)

Fresh horses, baby horses, ex racehorses, riders learning to jump, new partnerships, first jumps of the season and out for a fun spin we had the range today and great to see them all leaving feeling confident 🤩
