**** MEMBER OF STAFF REQUIRED ****

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team for summer, potentially full time for the right individual. Based just north of Milton Keynes, we run modern machinery including all Fendt tractors and JCB telehandler

Roles to include:
- Grass work such as tedding, raking, topping
- Trailer work such as Silage carting, Bale carting, Grain carting
- Operation of zero turn mower at our equestrian centre
- Livestock work where needed (minimal through summer)
- General farm work/ maintenance

All applicants must:-
- Have full UK driving license
- Have tele-handler certificate
- Be willing to work long hours
- Able to work in a team
- Also capable of working on their own
- Be able to carry out daily maintenance to a high standard
- Take pride in their machine
- Be tidy and punctual
- Have a reference from previous employer

There will be an opportunity to do other farm operations such as cultivating, muck spreading and more

Good rates of pay.

Busy start to the spring! Winter wheat having its first pass of fertiliser, and also being rolled now the ground has dried significantly. Spring barley all drilled and rolled too which is a relief due to the poor, wet conditions it went into last year. Plenty of hay still heading to farms up north too. ☀️💪🏼🚚🐮🚜

That’s all the winter crops planted. After 10 inches of rain in September we wondered if we would get anything planted at all, but we’ve had a very kind November allowing us to press on.
Fortunately we were able to borrow a neighbours claydon drill for areas the vaderstad was struggling with (mostly headlands) and for the direct drilling of beans on unworked ground.
We also had Vernon Contractors help out with some ploughed grassland which went into wheat with their combi drill set up 👌🏼
