We have a few spaces left on our Wrexham zone day tomorrow, Wednesday 16th April, with our vet Claire.

On our zone visit days we cover routine work including vaccinations, routine teeth rasping, blood samples, bandage changes, sarcoid cream applications, passports and microchips.

Visit charge ยฃ11 per horse.
New for 2025, NO VISIT CHARGE if 4 or more horses seen on one yard!!

To take advantage of our zone visit days, we request that you are able to be flexible with the time of your visit, which will be assigned on the morning of your visit.

And itโ€™s time to start thinking about getting your first worm egg counts of the grazing season done, if you havenโ€™t done so alreadyโ€ฆ

We recommend 3 counts. Spring, Summer and Autumn.

If youโ€™re new to worm counts and would like to know how to take samples, or if you would like to discuss your yearly worm control programme, give us a call. Counts are ยฃ8.60 each.

We also offer tapeworm saliva and blood testing.

Our premium and veteran healthcare packages include 3 yearly worm counts. For those on packages- donโ€™t forget to get your first samples to us over the next few weeks.

For all those owners foaling at home this year. Remember the 1-2-3 rule for foaling!!

(1) A newborn foal should stand within 1 hour
(2) A newborn foal should drink within 2 hours
(3) The placenta should be passed within 3 hours
