Post-op cuddles for little Lily! 💕

Lily had her spay surgery and microchip yesterday and enjoyed some well-deserved post-op love from RVN Naomi🥰

We’ll see Lily again in a few days to check her wound and make sure she’s recovering well.

Spaying is an important part of responsible cat ownership, helping prevent unwanted litters and providing health benefits. And remember, microchipping is a legal requirement in the UK for all cats, whether indoor or outdoor, and gives them the best chance of being reunited with you if they go missing.

✨ Meet the beautiful FIFI! 🐾💗

This little beauty came in for her cat spay (neutering) and was an absolute little star! ⭐ She enjoyed lots of cuddles and fuss from our lovely Nurse Naomi, who couldn’t resist giving her some extra love. 🥰🐱

Spaying has lots of benefits for cats, including preventing unwanted litters, helping reduce the risk of certain reproductive diseases, and preventing seasons and the behaviours that can come with them. It’s an important part of helping our feline friends live happy, healthy lives. 💕🐾

We all fell a little bit in love with the gorgeous Toulouse today! 💙

Our receptionist, Nicole, couldn't resist a cuddle after this handsome Ragdoll kitten came in for his castration and microchip procedure. We're pleased to say he was an absolute superstar and so brave throughout his visit! 🥰

A little reminder for all cat owners: it's a legal requirement for all cats, whether they live indoors or outdoors, to be microchipped by the age of 20 weeks. Microchipping is a quick, simple procedure that gives your furry friend the best chance of being reunited with you if they ever go missing.

We hope you enjoy lots of cuddles at home while you recover, Toulouse! 🐱💕

Meet Nala 🐱💜

Earlier this week, Nala was brought to us after going missing for a few days and returning home with a badly injured tail. Unfortunately, the damage was too severe to repair, so our Lead Vet, Hiren, performed a tail amputation to ensure she could recover comfortably and pain-free.

Although it can sound daunting, cats adapt remarkably well to living with a shortened or amputated tail. Most go on to live completely normal, active lives with little to no impact on their mobility or quality of life.

Nala recovered well during her stay with our RVN Shanna, who made sure she was comfortable and well cared for throughout her recovery.

We wish Nala a smooth recovery at home and look forward to seeing her back for her post-operative check. 💜🐾

Meet Ollie 🐱💙

This handsome little kitten came in today for his castration and completely stole the hearts of RVN Naomi and our receptionist Nicole. With a face that cute, it's safe to say he had the whole team wrapped around his tiny paws! 🥹🐾

Castrating male kittens is an important part of responsible pet ownership. It helps prevent unwanted litters, can reduce roaming and fighting as they get older, and lowers the risk of certain health and behavioural issues—helping them enjoy a happier, healthier life.

Ollie was a superstar today, and we can't wait to see him in a few days for his post-op check. Wishing you a speedy recovery, little man! 💙🐾

Reign came in with Nurse Naomi for his post-op castration check and got a gold star for being such a brave little patient! 💙

Post-op checks are so important to make sure everything is healing well, with no signs of infection or complications, helping your furry friend recover safely. ✨
