Hi Buddy Love gang,
We are looking for a new dog walker/daycare assistant to join our team next month. If any of our clients or followers know anyone who would be great for this job, or would like to apply yourselves, we would love to hear from you!

Buddy Love is a dog walking and doggy daycare business based in Beckenham. Currently we have 7 wonderful dog walkers and daycare assistants in our company. We are looking for someone local (as this job involves lots of driving!) to join our team as a dog walker, initially as a part time member whilst training, with the option of either remaining part time or building up to full time once fully trained.
Please note: this job requires the use of your own car to transport the dogs (seat covers and dog seatbelts will be provided) so you must own your own car and hold a full valid UK driving license.
Hours: This job is a zero hour contract as staff hours will depend on the number of bookings we have. Initially we are looking for someone to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the opportunity to build up to 5 days a week and to gain extra work providing weekend walks, daycare, etc as and when clients ask.
Pay: This job will mainly see you walking groups of dogs up to twice a day but you will also be asked to help out in our daycare centre and assist with picking up and dropping off dogs from daycare at the beginning and end of the day. Our pay varies for each of these roles but as a guide, you will receive £10 per dog on walks and £12.21-£12.50 per hour for all other work.
Experience: Previous experience in dog walking or pet care is not essential but would be extremely beneficial. Having a good understanding of dog behaviour and body language is extremely important. It is also essential you are comfortable using apps for communicating with clients and keeping track of our work calendar. We will provide on the job training for dog walking, pet care, and pet first aid. A current DBS Certificate is again beneficial but not essential.
