What a fantastic start to the 6 weeks! ☀️

First summer camp – ✅ which photos will be up soon.

But let’s take a moment for our amazing Debdale girls kicked things off in style, competing yesterday at our local show! 🎉🏇…

Well how nice to of seen yesterday 🫶🏻

Our Debdale family. 💫

These incredible people have been with us from the very beginning — learning to ride here, loaning their first horse here, and now owning their own ponies here. What a journey it’s been!

And what an achievement yesterday was!
Smashing it in every class with 1st and 2nd places — and to top it all off:

🏆 Junior Novice Champion – Minnie with Fred
🥈 Senior Reserve Champion – Jess with Morgan

But beyond the rosettes and ribbons is something even more special!
Is a family. 🫶🏻
Not a family by blood, but one by the same passion, dream, & determination.

We wouldn’t want Debdale any other way, or without the people who make it what it is today. You not only make Megan and all of us so proud, but Kate would undoubtedly be beaming with pride. You’re showing the world what Debdale truly means, something only a special few truly understand. 🫶🏻

Our horses are bouncing into the weekend, ready for the summer holidays – and they can’t wait to see you! 🐴

We’re kicking off next week with Summer Camp, and what a full house we have! 🏡

‼️ WE GO AGAIN ‼️

As you’re all aware from our last post regarding the extreme heat, we’re putting our measures in place to keep everyone safe and comfortable for this coming weekend.

‼️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

Due to the current hot weather and the high temperatures expected over the weekend, we are putting a few important measures in place for the safety and well-being of our horses, staff, and you—our valued clients. 🐴

LESSONS:
• Indoor lessons will go ahead as planned, as the arena is shaded.
• Lessons this weekend will be kept very low key for the welfare of both you and the horses - Please be mindful — there’s so much to learn at a calmer pace, and this is the perfect opportunity to focus on technique, feel, and connection.
• Outdoor lessons may be adjusted or cancelled depending on the temperature. Megan will be in touch to move some sessions indoors where possible.

CLOTHING & SAFETY:
Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing to keep everyone safe:
• No sandals, Crocs, shorts, vest tops, or crop tops.
• Shoulders and chest must be covered—we recommend polo shirts or t-shirts.
• Long bottoms and riding boots (short or long) are required.
• Please stay hydrated and wear sun cream.

JUMPING LESSONS:
• There will be no jumping in private lessons this weekend unless conducted indoors.
• All lessons will be kept low-key to ensure the welfare of both horses and riders.

EXTRA CARE:
• Cold water bottles will be available in iced buckets at the top and by the outdoor arena.
• Horses will be sponged down and offered water before and after each lesson—please be patient as this takes time.
• Horses will be on a rotational break system, so your preferred horse may not be available.
• This also applies to instructors, depending on how the day runs.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping everyone safe and comfortable during this heat.

Well here it is 💥

Groom & Hack session 🐴

In which we will be introducing as a group session for all, there will be a beginners group and then a novice group in which this entails grooming session prior before for 10 minutes in which we will learn the importance of grooming and why, we then will saddle up to get onto our horses given and take a educational ride around our short block in which we will learn ride and road safety as well as how we deal with our horses in a safe manner while hacking out independently, these will run at 10:50am and 1:20pm. These sessions will run mainly on Saturdays but also one will be allocated at 3:30 on a Sunday.

We also have 2 new things in town…
One will be released tomorrow 💥 which regards for all capabilities, to where you can get more learning and education under your belt and another string to your bow added. 🎀

Our other idea will be released very soon where our instructors will be able to bring more to your lessons! We’re just gathering dates and organisation in preparation for this! We can’t wait to share with you 🐴🤍

Our horses are itching into the weekend, they have truly loved the warmer weather and super excited for our ….

Easter half term activities that are now live 🐣

Make sure you get booking in via our ecpro system, take a look what we have going on within our comments where we will post what the dates involve 👀

URGENT ‼️ 🚨

We ask all customers that are coming for stable club,riding lessons anything that entails you to walk within the premises.
We ask you to dunk your shoes in the disinfectant bucket provided and sanitise your hands given near where you exit your car (Photo shown in comments).
This needs to be done immediately of arrival.

We also ask for freshly washed clean clothes are worn to the yard. We also ask that you haven’t visited an other yard/premises with horses on before coming to us. This is to stop the spread of a virus 🦠 going around within the horses welfare. We want to keep all our horses and ponies safe and well here at Debdale.

We hope you can all follow our procedures and guidelines for our horses 🐴
