We sent two teams to a very hot BFA Flyball competition at Ashton, Cheshire today. Due to the heat the afternoon racing was reduced to best of three so significantly reduced the margin of error. The open team racing for the first time this season under Kiddy Minsters team name consisted of Venom, Saffron, Mabel, Shelby, Skye and Brianna won four of our six races to finish in a four way tie for first place. Sadly on fastest time count back we finished 4th. To show how close this result was we lost one leg by 0.01 seconds if we had won that leg we would have won the division with five wins.

Our foundation team did much better winning the division with a 90% clean run ratio. Experienced foundation dogs Roman and Shuri were back up by Bumblebee who had a 100% clean run ratio, and in her first competition Poppy only made one mistake in the last race as she finally succumbed to the heat, but had run perfectly up to that point.

Many thanks to AJ and Karen for box loading and everyone who supported the teams when not involved in racing.

Confirmation both teams are racing on Saturday 30th May at the F&P Show, Ashton, Chester.

Confirming our entry for the OfP show on 30/31 May has been accepted.
One open team (Kiddy Minsters) and one foundation team (Kiddy Munchkins).

We are using Minsters as we are sending a hybrid team with dogs from both Monsters and Madness. Could be chaotic but I’m sure we can get it slick with a couple of training sessions in May.

These are the shows we are doing along with the dogs who have committed. Looks like we won’t get enough for a team for the end August show so that one will probably be dropped. If anyone want to be added to any show, let me know please.

First outdoor show for the year at the Relentless show in Naseby, Northants today.
Early April weather was a tad cold with significant gusts in the afternoon causing the show to be abandoned midway through the last division.
Kiddy Monsters with Bodie, Saffron, Molly and Ollie ran in division two. Gaining three wins to finish 3rd in the division with a new seed time of 17.55.
Kiddy Madness with Mabel, Brianna, Skye, Shelby and Llaney ran well setting a new breakout time of 19.58 and coming third in division 5.
Roman and a borrowed friend from Innerwolf came 3rd in the foundation division.
Thanks to our box loaders, AJ, Daniel and Poppy who all had faultless days.
Thanks to all who travelled today to handle, box load or support the teams.
