Sorry a little (long) rant .. 😞😞
As you know we are a very small company here at Equi HUT ( family of 3 that’s Me the wife (Susan) my husband Jamie and my 73 year old dad Bill )
We very much pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service along with our high quality product being Equi HUT that is made entirely by us and fully made to order making sure everything is as requested by you our customers, note we do not use any sub-contractors to build any part of the best field shelter on the market that is steel framed and very well designed and made with love ❤️
So what we need and ask from you is understanding, honesty and common sense as we work incredibly hard 6/7 days a week making sure we keep to our high standards and we always do our very best to deliver our Equi HUTs into your field so that your horses / Alpacas / Sheep / Goats and any other animals a safe place to shelter and call home.
So please please understand we work very hard and when I ask if access is good and we can get your beautiful new Equi HUT onto site that you have realistic expectations, yesterday we had one of the most challenging and dangerous deliveries of all, and as you know we will ALWAYS go above and beyond to give you the best service ever, but please please I ask that you put our safety first.
We had driven over 4 hours me and Jamie thankfully it was me and Jamie and NOT my dad Bill as simply I think we would still be there on site or my dad ended up getting hurt,
I did know it was going to be a challenge hence my decision to go with Jamie and have my dad look after our three year-old son, but honestly I didn’t know HOW challenging it was going to be, I wont go into too much detail but in a nutshell it tuck us almost 4 hours for us to simply get into our customers field which we had to do as we could not have got out simply to the fact it was a single track up what I can say looked like a old river bed that was just wide enough to actually get the Equi HUT up to then be stuck so we had to unload winch move by hand in slippery mud and then get it though a 2500mm wide gate ( note our Equi HUT is 2400mm ) also note this is on a 90° angle and not on the flat May I add in driving rain and wind ..
thankfully the customer did have some amazing mud control mats that myself and Jamie moved by hand and placed under our struck truck ..
honestly, these were the saving grace and Would highly highly recommend anybody to purchase these ..
So what I’m getting at is please understand we are only human and please understand it is our job to build you a safe strong amazing shelter but it is YOUR responsibility to provide us a safe access into your field.
And if we feel it is not possible for us to safely get into your field then understand that is NOT our fault and we have to unload in a area that is safe for us to do so and then it’s YOUR responsibility to make the necessary arrangements to get your Equi Hut into place.
I really hope that you will understand and respect our decision on the day if this is something that needs to happen.
And to add honesty yesterday showed us just how amazingly strong and well built our Equi Hut is. 🦾🦾
Rant over and I hope your all having a great day 💋
