Useful information
All our huts comes fully built and are super easy to tow and move ..
Ground anchors are also supplied and fitted at time of delivery but do recommend extra or a full storm kit if in exposed areas.
Super safe and strong for all those bum scratches too 😜🙌
Our HUTs are built on a full galvanised steel frame roofing is 0.7mm plastic coated steel sheet in Juniper green with a fleece liner which stops condensation in the winter months.. but will reduce the heat in the summer months and makes a cool space for any livestock to shelter in.

So we did this stunning bespoke HUT for a customer that needed a feed / storage unit and had very strict planning regulations and as our Equi HUTs are delivered fully built this was a big selling point and her local council approved our design..
this is a very unique project we had as our customer wanted a removable floor and stable door as then if one of her minis needed emergency stabling this would be the perfect solution .. 
This was then delivered up to Dumbarton in Scotland .. customer was over the moon and said this is going to be a great help in the harsh weather conditions they have ❤️

Introducing our all new and upgraded storm kit .. 🌪️🌬️

Honestly these have saved so many shelters over the past year it’s so worth the investment in purchasing one of these not only for our Equi HUTS but also works great on standard stables and shelters that you may have.

Our Storm KITs are the perfect piece of mind for unpredictable weather high winds that we seem to be having more and more frequently

We have worked hard creating a “ALL IN ONE” easy to fit ground anchoring system for all mobile shelters and stables

What You get in our kit

4 heavy duty ground anchors that is hot dipped galvanised
2 storm straps (8 meters) other lengths available if needed
4 strap protectors
2 ratchet protectors
1 Carry bag

Useful information on our Storm KITs

All our ground anchors are now hot dipped galvanised. Our reason for the upgrade on these (previously powder coated)
simply is because galvanised steel is far more durable and they are definitely up for the job of being hammered/screwed/man handled into your ground, making sure that the steel is fully protected! This is so important as they are going to be in wet / damp soil which if just powder coated the material may flake off, resulting in the steel to deteriorate over time.

Each storm strap and ratchet also now has a protective cover, these are not only to help protect the straps from any wear that may happen over time, but also on the ratchet itself its a protective covering that helps protect the ratchet, but also protects your livestock too.

Well if we can’t say that our Equi HUTs are storm proof I don’t know what else to say

Our Equi HUTs have really stood strong against 2 of the worst storms to hit the UK in the past few months 💨🌪️

Unfortunately we have been hit hard by the storm and it’s wiped us out
No electric since yesterday morning and a message from the national grid saying not going to be on till tomorrow evening

This is not good news as poor Jamie was working hard to get out the last 4 orders out before Christmas

We will endeavour to our very best as hate to let our customers down as I know how much they have looked forward to having their Equi HUTs delivered..

So let’s talk about movability

We have had a fare amount of people contacting us saying that their local council are really cracking down on how mobile actually are mobile field shelters are.. and if they can’t be moved easily then planning is required.

Also some have even started saying that they need to arrive at lest 80% built

As you are aware we definitely full within these requirements

But this has got us thinking on making our Equi HUTs on wheels 🛞

By doing this, this will allow you to move without the use of a towing vehicle which so many of our customers does have access to..

We would like to know your opinion on this?

Wheels will be able to easily come off and put
Back on when you need to move it.
